I had VSG on April 3rd & it went well. My hardest part was waking up in recovery in pain. I dozed in & out of sleep so much that they jokingly nicknamed me sleeping beauty! I’m home now, doing well, & continuing to recover. The gas pains are the worst part.

Wow once I had horrible gas pains and I felt like I was dying but i just dealt with it since I wasn’t able to do nothing. But man I wonder if the gas pain from surgery will be anything like what I experienced before. Thankful it was only once. Fit.4.Me I hope you feel better soon

Gastric sleeve on April 3rd!!!! I’m nervous, anxious, & excited all at once! The 2 week clear liquid diet has been a struggle but I’m almost there!

I’m scheduled to have the sleeve on April 3rd. I’m currently on day 3 of my 2 week clear liquid diet & it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done! 😔

To each their own and viva la difference!
I just believe I'm not the poster child for WLS awareness and feel that this is my story to tell to whom I choose. Most people do not possess the "need-to-know" security clearance for this.
It has nothing to do with stigmas for me. It has to do with not wanting to be the subject of idle curiosity and commentary. Gossip about someone else.
