  1. It’s also been hard for me to reach the requirements of Water in a day .. Protein hasn’t really been a problem for me .. have you tried drinking the fairlife milk? It has a lot of protein.. what’s also been hard for me is getting in veggies because by the time I eat my protein off my plate I am super full

  2. Yeah that’s super long, I only had to do a liquid diet the day before surgery and a low fat diet 2 weeks before surgery.. but ever surgeon is different and also everyone’s health ..

But hang in there, I know it must be super hard but you can and will overcome it.. later on after surgery when you start feeling healthy and good you’ll be so happy that you did everything you had to do.. this will show you some of the strengths you never even knew you had 💕

  3. Hang in there, it will get better. I felt the same but after surgery you get so full and now I have found healthy foods that I enjoy soooo much .. there are days where I’ll see certain foods and I’ll want it but then I’ll remember everything I’ve been through and also how unhealthy and miserable that food made me feel and I’ll simply stop wanting it .. but don’t worry you’re strong enough to over come any of the challenges, you got this!!

  4. @ms.sss ohh yeah that’s one of my other challenges is the time it takes me to eat, I make sure I chew my food up super good but it does get frustrating at times..

@healthy_life2 You’re definitely right!! I’m so glad that you’re still having fun and living your life.. like you said life doesn’t stop because of surgery if anything it gets better!!

We are all so strong! We over come challenges each and everyday and we should be so proud of it. I am proud of each and everyone of you!

  5. My hardest thing has been the no drinking till 30 minutes after meals. I get super thirsty, and dang do those 30 minutes go by slow.

Getting my head in the game was hard at first, but now I’m used to it. I choose not to stop doing fun things because of “what if old habits come back” I believe that I am strong minded and know exactly what I have to do to maintain my goals.. I still go out with friends all the time and do other fun things and still manage to follow the surgeons orders to the T. I refuse to turn this surgery into a “jail” if not into a beautiful lifestyle change.. it’s about balancing, I still have my fun, go out, travel, eat right, and exercise etc...... 😁

  6. Thank you guys for all your feedback!! I appreciate it.. a while back before surgery my hair was very unhealthy and wouldn’t grow. I started to take some pills and within 3 months my hair grew long, natural, and thick people thought I had hair extensions but in reality it was my natural hair.. I am 2 months post op, I haven’t lost any hair (yet) I am going to start the pills again to see if it will help prevent it or if it does fall to see if it’ll grow back fast.. if you ladies want pics of the hair pills let me know and I will post them

  7. Don’t get discouraged, everyone’s body is different. You’re doing the best you can.. let your body take its time and do what it’s supposed to do.. as long as you’re doing what you’re supposed to do, then you’re good!
