I had my surgery when I was 24 and I am now 2 years out which makes me 26 and let me tell you I’m so happy I did it and wouldn’t change it for anything!!

Can we drink live women Probiotics? My nut told me to drink some weeks before surgery but she never said if we can drink them after and if it’s beneficial

Thank you everyone! Don’t get me wrong I am super happy that I had surgery and feeling healthier and I’m totally happy with my decision.. I just feel that when I was chunky I loved myself and I knew who I was within.. and recently I’ve been having mental battles where I question who am I now, I feel like I have to re find myself like I’m a total complete different person.. I feel happy with my results and health but it’s became mentally hard within

Has anyone either feel or have felt that you have to re find yourself again after loosing so much weight? Re learn how to love yourself? Or any troubles mentally?

Is a person that had WLS more fertile a year out than a person that doesn’t have WLS?

Mine says I can start incorporating starches when I have lost 65-75% excess fat or at month 6 .. i believe i have lost 75% but I’m 5 months so I’m not sure what to do

What was your guys instructions on when you can choose to start introducing starches?

I usually always eat 2 ounces of meat but it’s usually chicken and that time I ate 2 ounces of ground beef, I don’t really eat beef but the times I have it was never a problem until yesturday .. the pain was so bad I almost went to the hospital but it went away after like an hour

Has anyone else experienced super bad pain after eating? I just at 2 ounces of meat and I literally have been in such pain for about 30 min it feels like a big stabbing a little above my belly button and it radiates to my back .. it’s soooooooo painful

Thank you guys all for each of your feed back! I was curious because every surgeon has its own stages .. I am 4 months post op and haven’t had no starches at all or nothing starchy .. on my surgeons book it tells me to start incorporating starches till 6 months post op or till about 75% excess body fat is off

Does anyone know of some good Probiotics for us Bariatric patients? I used to take some before the surgery but those pills were huge and now I can only take pills the size of an m&m

I barley hit my first stall and I think it’s been 3 weeks, I am in my 4th month..

I was thinking what can it be because I’ve been doing every Im supposed to..

After your guys stall did you guys start loosing the weight a little quick again?

What was your stall experience? And in what month?

Gas pains are the worst .. what helps a lot are Gas-x and Can get them over the counter.. I highly recommend them
