  1. I'm losing lots of hair too, just accepting it and hoping it comes back in!
  2. I've been too fat for jeans for many years. All my coworkers loved jeans days, I hated them. Well now I can wear jeans! I was in a very uncomfortable 32 pants size, now it's not just jeans that I can wear but I have to get Super Skinny jeans in a loose size 20! Bring on those jean days!! 3. Ugh, I wish Facebook didn't know I've lost weight, need new clothes, and love that I can wear all these cute styles now. Everytime I look at Facebook there's all these click her now to buy this cute dress, adorable top, hot swimsuit. The prices are more affordable than what I used to have to pay and fitting into these smaller sizes is enticing as well, but I'm holding out as I know it won't be long before they're too big too. Lord give me the strength to not click here! [emoji120]
  4. Sleeved Feb 28. Losing steadily. Weigh weekly not one stall yet, no cravings, no hunger, very happy with minus 75 lbs.
  5. I'm very similar to you as well, heaviest weight 362, 5'10". I knew I was big but after seeing myself in my daughter's wedding photos, I was like Whoa, I didn't realize I looked like that! I'm down 66lbs since February and very pleased so far. Congrats on being so close to 100#. When was your surgery and did you get the sleeve?
  6. Happy to report I broke out of the 300's today. Down 66 lbs, sleeved 2/28. You know you just can't go around telling anyone that without judgement or uncomfortable looks. I'm so happy just had to share!
  7. To me it means take advantage of no food cravings and not being hungry. Don't "try" things that are not good for you. Take this time to change your relationship with food. Learn about logging food, weighing and measuring. Find healthy snacks that you like. But I'm only 8 weeks out.
  8. Had mine outpatient. I was released within 3 hours of surgery. I was perfectly fine and happy to be home sleeping in my own bed the rest of the day, minus the hourly walks I got up for.
  9. No complications here either. Sleeved February 28, 2019. I had day surgery was released within 2 hours of surgery, walked a lot right after. Had no nausea, took minimum pain meds for a few days. I've had no stalls yet. Lost 11 lbs first week and 2 to 5 lbs every week since. Down 63 lbs since the two week pre-op diet. I follow my plan, log my food, take my Vitamins, weigh and measure my food, weigh myself only once a week, drink Water only, get my Protein in most days. One thing I don't do on plan is hit my calorie goal of 600-800 calories, I find that difficult at this point as I can't eat much and don't snack because I'm never hungry. I think I had a great surgeon and support staff. I couldn't be happier with my results.
  10. I'm spoiled by my mom. Beef, chicken, and pork Bulgogi ready for the grill or stove top. Oh if only you could smell this stuff!! Can't wait.
  11. My Mom is Korean, she makes the best Bulgogi, and she uses NO sugar.
  12. Yes, I used to always stretch out my tops in the tummy and arm area before putting them on. Sometimes I still catch myself doing it even though my shirts are all plenty roomy now. I bought a size smaller t-shirt the other day and really strechef it out because I was afraid it was going to be too tight, it didn't need stretched at all, I could've even went down 2 sizes. [emoji4]
  13. Not according to my surgeons plan, I was on soft protiens including fish on week 3. No puree stage ever. No problems. Every Dr is different
  14. Had our monthly meeting today and I fit in the student desk with room to spare!! I hated those meetings because the only seats are student desks and I would have to squeeze myself into them and sit uncomfortably through the meeting! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. I'm not but I take a weekly video of myself telling how my week went. After a year I'll clip them and compile them for me to view. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. Had a great 6 week post op Dr. & Dietician visit today. I can move on to the next food stage early. I was told that I needed to up my calories to 600 - 800. I think that'll be hard, but I'll try. Crazy to feel like that for me!! I'm down 57 lbs, very excited about that!! So thankful that I am able to take this journey!!
  17. That's what I thought I read once but wasn't sure thanks for commenting
  18. I thought it was very hard to stretch it back. How was your food intake?
  19. Yes I am in agreement with everyone else. I'm 5 weeks out and last time I had eggs I could only eat half of the egg with nothing else.
  20. They told me when food gets stuck a little pineapple juice helps a lot.
  21. No be proud! That's awesome and you know there's more to come!! (Well go lol). Yeah I started second guessing my post surgery loss for just a second, but yes we should definitely be proud!!
  22. 27 is a great loss, I have the same surgery date and I've lost a total of 40 pounds but half was on the pre-op diet. I weigh tomorrow as I'm only weighing once a week. I'm happy with my loss so far. My surgery weight was 337.
