I meant tea shouldn’t cause a stall😬

I think I would depend on if you were using sweeteners and how much in your tea. The tea itself should cause a stall. Sometimes or bodies need recalibration time.

I am a firefighter. I am 4 weeks out and still have a great deal of incision pain. I am shooting for another two weeks or so to get back to work. I have lost some strength that needs to get rebuilt but other than those two factors, I feel good.

It’s for you and you are worth it. Under standing obesity, physiology and psychology will help your dear sister understand the complexities of weight loss. She should take several seats and educate herself before popping off.

They did check for nicotine in the blood before approval and before surgery. I used e-cigarettes and stepped down nicotine to zero and then just saw it as pointless after I kicked the nicotine part. Best of luck to you.

4 weeks post op on Monday. Is anyone else still having a hard time with incision pain. I am still very sore. My surgeon didn’t seem to think it was any reason to be concerned but I still have a hard time getting in and out of the car.

This podcast is amazing. It is full of all kinds of information and support. It is hosted by a nurse practitioner who is dedicated to her patients and understanding/fighting obesity.

I am three weeks out and that is my biggest complaint. I am still really sore at my large incision site. Almost all movement has me in pain. Getting out of bed, up from a seated position and bending or twisting is extremely uncomfortable. The waist binder works well to hold everything together but u am still moving slowly because of the pain. Tylenol helps but I don’t want to take it everyday. 😕

A good time of thumb is to cut your gym routine in half. Half of the duration and half of the intensity. Give yourself time to heal. You were literally just in the hospital for a serious surgery. Slow motion is better than no motion. 😊

You have seemed to do a wonderful job thus far in your journey and kudos to you for recognizing that you are sliding down a slippery slope. If old habits are creeping in you should ask yourself why. Seems like they need to be assessed and then Addressed. They stapled your stomach not your brain. Therapy or work with a specialist on food addiction may be helpful for you.

I read that baby food isn’t ideal because of its high sugar content. I use a hand blender on most of my foods and it is working out ok.

Hey March Sleevers. I am one week post op today. YaY!!! I am feeling good and am thankful that I had a straight forward recovery so far. Little nausea on the first few days but other than that not much to complain about. The worst pain has been in my large incision site on my lower right side but as long as I am mindful of my movement it isn't too bad. I am feeling very optimistic and hopeful going forward. Big hugs and cheers for the March family.

Been stalled for 3 weeks now at 228. HW 270 SW 248. I went back to the basics and hope that this will pass soon and I will start dropping lbs again. The inches are coming off in the meanwhile so that makes me happy.
