  1. Mine also encouraged walking immediately
  2. I already drink at least 64 oz a day but I’m going to try to bump that up. I’ve been having headaches the last few days which I haven’t had since pre op. Hoping it’s just being dehydrated now that it’s warmer ??‍♀️
  3. Are you losing? That’s what I would be concerned with. 500 calories was too low for me but I’m 5’ 10”. My nut bumped me up a few hundred and I found my sweet spot.
  4. 8) this sounds like an awesome prompt for an art journal page ? But for right now I am most proud that I have been sticking to my plan and working through some of my addiction issues with food. (With no loss of life and minimal blood shed ?)
  5. I have IC (painful bladder syndrome). When I have flares it basically feels like the worse UTI imaginable. Post op it got a LOT worse. Normally I can control it with diet so it didn’t make any sense two weeks out that it was getting so intense . After searching some boards I found out that Voila, it was my vitamins!!! Most Vitamins use abscorbic acid to formulate Vitamin C. I found a low acid one called “multiright low acid formula” . The difference is night and day!!!And I use BariMelts for my Calcium twice daily and in the afternoon I eat a calcium chew sort of like a treat! The salted caramel ?
  6. I love yours too !!
  7. #7) Do nothing ✅
  8. I’m back to drinking regular coffee 2+ months out. It’s not caffeinated or decaf that’s the issue it’s that’s it acidic. There are low acid coffees you could try . I haven’t so I couldn’t say what they’re like
  9. Let us know what he thinks of them, they look delish !
  10. Did you mention to them your lack of energy? I know I had zero energy for the first month. Hopefully you’re feeling better in a week or so. Hang in there , your body’s been through a lot
  11. I know , not very helpful but call your surgeon if your symptoms continue .
  12. That is amazing!!! Congratulations ????????????????
  13. My surgeon prepared me that my protein and water intake were GOALS and not something I’d be able to achieve right away. Of the two he was more concerned about liquids. Just take it slow. You’ll get there ??
  14. Have we ever in our lives talked about poop more??!! ???
  15. Congratulations!!! Did your dr give you something for nausea ? I had to use mine the first few days on top of having the scolamine patch behind my ear.
  16. I was like that about scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes
  17. Look!!! Not laugh at !! Geesh ??‍♀️
  18. Somebody (raise your hand if it was you!) suggested a book in one of the threads The Emotional First Aid Kit: A Practical Guide to Life After Bariatric Surgery, Second Edition https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0054RXXS0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0IGPCbK8PMAS3 It is really hammering home just how important exercise is for our success post op. For some reason it struck a chord even though I’ve read or heard most of it before. Good luck today everyone and kudos to everyone who’s already gotten in their workout ????‍♀️?
  19. Oh well, now we have something to lol forward too ?
