  12. Not me. I don’t feel bad. In fact, An encounter yesterday at my 1 wk post op appt confirmed my decision to stay private. After meeting with my dr, I met with the dietician on staff. While waiting, the receptionist said, “you shouldn’t have had surgery. You’re too small”. I got angry and felt so judged. For fear of what would come out of my mouth I gave her a nasty look and walked away. Bottom line: it’s a personal and private decision. No one has the right to comment or make a judgement about something that has absolutely NO effect on their life.
  13. I kept mine secret. Only my boyfriend and my parents know. It’s no one’s business and I didn’t want any judgment.
  14. Thank you so much. The encouragement is much appreciated!!!!!
  15. I’m 6 days post op too. I’ve got 6 incisions and they hurt. The Dermabond is starting to rub off. Went too the doctor today. He said the soreness is normal and will subside as the areas heal. You licked a dorito and I had a piece of dove dark chocolate. ? It melted in my mouth and tasted amazing. I’m embarrassed But no more!!!!
  16. I know it sounds crazy but anyone ever afraid the surgery won’t work and the end will be disappointment???
  17. Yea. I’m sick of this liquid diet. I really want to incorporate new stuff but it’s too soon and don’t want to get sick.
  18. Im three days post op too. yesterday I ate 3 popsicles, 20 ounces of premier protein, 10-15 ounces of chick fil a unsweetened tea mixed with diet lemonade. I haven’t met the 64 ounce goal but I’m trying. Just slowly sipping. No big gulps or drinks.
  19. That’s awesome. I had surgery Thursday and came home yesterday. Haven’t gotten on the scale yet. I’m nervous.
  20. Congratulations!! You have to be excited.
  21. Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind. Boullion cubes are rough but I’ll certainly give it a try. How long before you think we’ll start seeing the weight come off?
  22. I’m glad you’re feeling well! That’s great. I have pressure in my chest but it’s getting better. I’m going to start wearing myself off of the painkillers tomorrow. My family has been eating in front of me so that sucks but I’m ok I go back on the 22nd too Glad I took enough time off so I’ll be well rested
