Guess i will just have to wait to hear from them, i just thought the claim forms they sent me with no explanation was kinda weird. Wonder if they want me to fill them out , give to dr??

Hey Nicey, I am kinda preparing myself for a deniel. But gonna keep on with the appeal. Let me know how yours go. In my insrance book it does not say anything about a 12 month diet, 6 month dr documented

My bmi is around 38-39 and i did all the pscy eval and co morbs, had knee replacement due to athiritus(sp) in knees and feet so being overweight sure isn't good. The only thing i am worried about is i only did a 4 month pre diet with a doctor. And i don't know if bcbs nj will except this or make me do 6 months over again or just 2 more months??
I wish these insurance companys would just realize they will save money in the long run if they would just approve these and let us be healthier.
-
Hi, i have bcbs nj and everything was submitted on 7-6 how long did you have to wait before hearing from them??
Thanks

Has Anyone Gone Trhu The New Start Program. So Far They Sure Don't Return Calls And The Only Time I Get Any Info Is To Call Call Call! I Have Turned In All Requirements Thru My Drs. And Sure Am Getting Tired Of Waiting.
I Was Pre Approved With My Insurance So You Would Think This Wouldn't Take So Long!!
Anyone Experienced With New Start??
-
Yeah For You!!! I Am Still Hounding The Gal At New Start Program, I Am Not Really Happy With Ther Slow Slow Response.keep Me Updated

You Know losing the weight is not my main problem, It is keeping it off! Which is the problem for me.I have done jenny C 49 lbs only to gain it back, weight watchers 63 lbs only to gain it back. I think the Band will keep me from gaining all back. They do want alot of tests which is why going to the seminar really helped me. They gave step by step info on what you needed for submission to Insurance.I have BCBS NJ which coevers 100% but the Pysch Eval was out of pocket $140.00 They even gave a list of the Pysch Drs they work with, this info made everything so much easier. I am hoping for a date end of june or July
-
I went to the seminar and they gave me info and paperwork of everything I needed to to give them to submit to insurance, which I finally finished yesterday. It will all be submitted to them than they get me in to see the surgeon, who is Dr Follwell.

I am fortunate that my days off are during the week, so can get Drs App done
What kind of insurance, you can get a pre-approval which seems to get them in gear a little faster cause they know you are covered.
