    2 weeks post op

12/17 sleeve. I’m down 14 lbs. Lost in the first 10 days and nothing since! Going to post op visit tomorrow. With all the liquids I’m sure I’m getting around 600 calories but not losing. Why?????
  2. I baked just enough cookies for my daughter to leave out for Santa. My little family of four stayed in and so I was in full control yesterday! The holidays are made for eating and eating all the wrong stuff - hopefully next year we can all enjoy and we'll be so much thinner too! Happy New Year!
  3. Surgery 12/17 and I'm feeling the same way! Surprisingly easy recovery so far. I can get the liquids down easily. Maybe we're just lucky? Let's hope that's the case! Good luck.

    December 2018 Sleevers!

Surgery date 12/17. Day 3 - serious headache!! Hurt worse than my belly. On that day I was able to get more fluids down and more protein, helped tremendously. Headache much better the next day too and then gone. It kinda felt like a caffeine withdrawal headache.

    Complications

I had a hernia repair too; my surgeon says it's pretty common. My surgery date was 12/17 too. i was pretty sore in that upper rib cage region - probably from hernia but pain didn't last. Do your deep breathing exercises, I think that really helped.

    December 18th vsg surgery

12/17 was my date too! Pain for a couple of days. And now basically back to normal...slight pain on right side when getting up. Sleeve and hernia repair. Excited about this journey!

    Fear of failure...

First of all, wow!! 2 years out and you lost 138 lbs. Congrats! I'm less than a week out from a sleeve and I'm feeling the same way as you. I've always been prepared for failure and never for success, sadly. I decided that I needed a therapist on this journey because food is my escape, my comfort too. If you are able to talk to someone, I highly recommend it.
