Your surgeon doesn’t have a certain one he works with?
Mine had a particular one and they scheduled it for me.
Now mine was pre all this COVId stuff so not sure if that has something to do with it.
Check w your surgeon. Maybe he/she can facilitate the process for you? -

Man I wasn’t worried about the typical things either like death etc…
I worried mostly that it wouldn’t work for me. That I wouldn’t get to goal or that I’d regain it all back.
I’m here to you tell you that it did work for me and 4 years later I’ve kept it off. That worry doesn’t go away though. I still worry that I’ll regain.
So for me I say…..#WORTH IT!Tomo reacted to this -
You scar really well. Not dark or lumpy!
Sorry about the numbness. What did your PS say other than possible rare unwanted outcome?KimA-GA reacted to this -
Sorry I don’t live in the Austin area. I’m in Houston. I traveled to Austin for my PS.
My bariatric surgeon was Khoi Du. He is AWESOME!!! -
You’re welcome!!
Good luck to you and let me know what you end up doing -
His pricing is on his website. They give you a range on there. Of course a lot depends on what all you want. I had an umbilical hernia so that was an extra cost for me but I wanted that fixed while he was there.

Dr Mahlon Kerr is in Austin. I’m very happy with my results. I got a breast lift and Aug w TT. PM me if you want
Now you’re not going to get in next week or in the next couple months with anyone. Takes time. Consultation and then booking your procedure out.
Def don’t book with a surgeon who can get you in that quickly. Most good ones are busy.KarenLR75 and summerseeker reacted to this -

I wish I had them take my gallbladder while doing the sleeve.
My gallbladder aches every so often. I’m def not going to get it removed now (post TT) but wish I had asked for it to be taken while in there. -
I am so sorry to hear this. Thank goodness you areOn 12/12/2010 at 22:47, mumof2boys said:
Hello everyone...some of you guys may remember me...I was banded in 2007, lost about 130 pounds, found out my husband cheated on me, had plastic surgery to removed excess skin, got divorced and now I have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Throughout my ordeal with my cheating husband, I found lots of support from many friends here on LBT. Well, I'm in need of support yet again. The day after Thanksgiving I felt a lump in my breast. The following Monday I contacted my doctor and they got me in the office the following morning. The doctor confirmed that there was indeed a lump and gave me a referral for a mammogram and an ultrasound (I don't get annual mammograms because I am only 37). The next day I had a mammogram and ultrasound and the lump appeared "suspicious" and they suggested a biopsy. The following day I underwent a biopsy and I was informed this past Tuesday that it was positive for breast cancer. I have since had a MRI and met with an Oncologist and tomorrow I meet with a Radiation Oncologist. I am scheduled for a lumpectomy on Friday, December 17, 2010. It really hasn't hit me yet but I am scared of all of this. The way that things look now, I will not need to undergo chemo but I will have to have 6 - 8 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week.
Please keep me in your prayers during this difficult time...I really appreciate it.
Very much aware of changes in your body and got it looked at immediately. Prayers for healing! -
Sorry to hear that you didn’t get it. But good for you for not excepting less than what you deserve!!On 08/13/2022 at 04:30, Starwarsandcupcakes said:
Random food the last week(?) or so. All Keto. The mini Bagels also happen to be vegan! Cough @GreenTealael cough.
Also, I didn’t get that job I interviewed for but I wasn’t willing to take a pay cut either so. Their loss.

Make sure who ever you pick is Plastic Surgery Board Certified
I know plenty of general surgeons who have taken a few “classes” and then can list that they do plastic surgery. Being board certified in it is a true way to know they are specially trained. You want BOARD certified and FACS. -

A couple of weeks before Covid hit in 2020 & we entered lockdown I bought this outfit & it has been taunting me in my wardrobe ever since. Decided I wasn’t going to wait for a special event any longer so dinner wth my hairdresser current & former stylist was it. New French inspired restaurant in a small country town. My hair looked way better later as we had our regular hair appointment before dinner. The skirt is amazing. Known as the doona skirt as there is a layer of wadding inside. Still didn’t keep me warm enough though lol.
What season is it where you are?
It’s 500 degrees here in Texas. People are practically stripping down it’s so hot. Lol
No, the high this weekend was suppose to be 105. Too hot.

Ok so after the talk of eating out and my fav being Mexican food. We went to eat Mexican food at our fav spot.
The shrimp fajitas w veggies was mine. I ate two shrimp and some veggies. I didn’t eat any rice or Beans.
The portion is huge, me and hub usually split and still have left overs but he wanted to order something else this time. I have a ton of left overs but love it even left over.
The other two pics are a plate of my husbands and a plate from one of my kids. My kids both got the same thing so I didn’t take two pics. They order this huge burrito w fajita meat inside. They are both tall and fit so they don’t have a prob inhaling this type of plate occasionally -
Yummm that looks so fancy too!On 06/25/2022 at 22:02, Arabesque said:
Dined out again last night. This time a French inspired restaurant in a small country town in a sympathetically restored & decorated heritage building. Stole a yummy prawn beignet from my mum’s entree (appetiser) & I had a double baked scallop soufflé in a prawn bisque for my mine. The soufflé was delicious but I could only eat half - it was super rich & didn’t sit well but still worth the bites I had. Very sad though because I left the left overs behind. Their plating needs a little refining but everyone loved their meals.

@ms.sss I agree! Certain things I do like out-ex For me, Mexican food-which we have some awesome Mexican food here in Texas! On 06/25/2022 at 10:52, ms.sss said:
Lol i still love to go to restaurants (and reading the menus!), but there are certain things that i don’t order cuz Mr. make far superior versions at home. Specifically, steak, Pasta and pizza!
But seriously, that salmon and shrimp plate definitely looks restaurant-y 🤤
We really like to eat Mexican food out. We have made it at home-like grilled up fajitas and it’s good but we prefer out on that.
Which guess what?! We are now going to go eat that for dinner! Yummmmmmms.sss and GreenTealael reacted to this
