Yes kris . Just trying to gauge the weight loss trajectory - I was sleeved 12/20 at 231 and am down to 2016 in a month . 165 is my goal
The loss was quicker earlier on and has slowed down since. But I was losing anywhere from 2-4 pounds a week initially.
Take advantage of this honeymoon period where you're not "hungry" so you can make better choices. For me the hunger hasn't come bk yet so I'm tstill taking advantage of that by eating healthy. I do have my mega sweet tooth that gets me. Ex Skittles.
I also weigh every day bc it keeps me in check. But I know that maybe considered obsessive to some but it's what works for me.
You can do it. Just focus on the prize and reward your self w a new shirt or pants.
That has been very exciting for me...buying clothes. Hope I've helped. Let me know if you have any other questions I can help with.

Can you buy these in a grocery store? On 12/31/2018 at 09:52, FluffyChix said:
Ok guys!! I was about to post my own thread on these noodles I got in the BP store: Zeroodles with Oat Fiber (Spaghetti and Angel hair shapes).
I've loved and used Shirataki noodles for years as part of our low carb life. My fave shapes are angel hair, linguini, spaghetti, and "rice" which are more like the shape of Israeli Cous Cous. But other brands are packed in a Calcium hydroxide bath or something like that -- which smells fishy. So you pour that off, rinse like hell, then tump em into a dry non-stick pan on high heat to jump around and sizzle until all moisture is cooked off. Then you add your favorite sauce to them. Yummy!!! Or put em into Soup or a casserole. So good. But still, you had to deal with the initial smell, and they had more of a seaweed crunch.
But the Zeroodles with Oat Fiber are amazing!!! You get 2x or more as much quantity of noodles as you do from other brands. They are almost dry-packed, so no smell! And so easy to make. We still rinse and dry fry until very dry, but that takes literally 5 minutes. Then we use with sauce or in soup! Score!!!! So dang good. I'm ordering more this week!
The texture on these is so much better. The oat fiber adds a softer, almost zero crunch chew! It's also very good for you. They are both soluble fiber and help you gut microbiome and health! Soluble fiber also helps improve your cholesterol ratios in favor of the good cholesterol! So it's really healthy.
I would just caution, that you need to be healed from surgery first and be able to get your Protein in--cuz they are filling. Your bowels also need to be moving well. And you need to remember to eat slowly, small bites, and to chew very well!
I have no problemos digesting them and I've had an RNY.
I'm in love! I'm in love! And I don't care who knows!!!!

Had the sleeve. No regrets what so ever. I had it'll the surgery 7/23. Went to dr office at 238. Pre op weight was 221. Current weight 164.8
It's not a magic pill. You have to change your mentality. That has been challenging but seeing all these results encourages me to keep making lifestyle changes so I can keep this weight off permanently.
Good luck with what ever type you choose. It was life changing for me!!Healthy_life reacted to this -

Checking in. I was sleeved 8/16. I've been doing great. Had a slow loss in Dec (my own fault). I've already lost more in January than in December and only half way through the month! I'm down 69.2 from HW and 50.5 from SW. I've lost 44 inches too. Gone from a size 24 pants to a 16 or 18, a size 3X or 22/24 top to XL or 14/16, and a 44C bra to a 38/40 C/D. I've also been doing Zumba, which I love. I want to try kickboxing too. I'm super happy with my progress. I attached my most recent progress pic.

Intake Calcium , a women's one a day, B12 every other day, I also put a scoop of Vital Protiens collagen Peptides in my coffee in the morning. That helps with hair, skin and nails-I started it mostly for my Hair loss and also it keeps me "regular" as far as restroom. Once I had the surgery I would only go the rr every three days. Since starting this one scoop a day in my coffee I go the rr every day once a day. Been doing the collagen for just under a month. Anyways this is what I'm doing. Still losing hair but hoping that stops soon.On 01/12/2019 at 10:26, sassysleever76 said:
Oh my goodness it’s been awhile! I just passed my 5 mo post op and have been over coming a stall, so going to attack this new year! As I continue to lose weight and work out, I notice some areas of saggy skin (to be expected) which I treat by staying hydrated & kicking butt in the gym but I’m wondering if anyone is treating themselves with supplements or Vitamins for tightening of skin or elasticity? Happy new year to you all my fellow warriors 💞clsumrall reacted to this -

Getting ready to have surgery on Monday. Excited but then have bouts of being SUPER scared and nervous! Wondering how it’s going to be and if I’m going to have regrets. I want to know I made the right decision. 😞 after 5 months of preparing, years of failed diets and regains, I made this decision. And I can’t help but feeing nervous and wondering if it was the right one. Anybody else feel that way?

Had my sleeve on jan , 7 2019 felt pretty good but surgery took 7. 1/2 hours due to me having a acid reflux surgery in the past and I had developed another hernia and that was repaired! Was a little concerned about not going to the bathroom it seemed like I was full of food but I wasn’t getting rid of it but today things started moving and I feel better! -
Did they say why it took so long for your surgery??!😳On 01/10/2019 at 06:21, Rockhardbear said:

Hello all! I was sleeved July 23rd. Weight loss for me has slowed down here lately too. I still see it go down just not as fast as it was. Starting weight was 238. Pre op weight 221 and currently I am 165. My goal is 135. I'm only 5'4 1/2.
I'm not a Breakfast person so I drink a Premier Protein chocolate shake over ice in the morning. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.
My weakness is sugar in the evenings...particularly skittles🙄
Working on cutting back on that. I know the honeymoon phase is almost over so I need to get that in check and start working out regularly.
My bum has become flat (which I'm happy about seeing as I've always had a big bum) but bc I don't have muscle back there from not working out and losing weight it hurts to sit bc of my now boney tailbone. Anyone else have that??
Need to get to the gym and work on that.

I've never tried jicama....what does it taste like? Bitter? Sweet? I'm going to grab some of those this weekend!! Thanks!!On 01/11/2019 at 11:02, FluffyChix said:
Tacos for Breakfast? Why sure...
No afters. This is a little less than 1c food. Jicama "tortilla"...
Breakfast Taco (leftover chicken/feta from a Greek salad = meal 4 of the salad that never ends...Gah! I hate leftovers so bad. Although this taco was yum!) And I'm a major fan of the jicama "tortilla".

Hey Abbey/it's actually Kristin. A lot of my friends call me Kris so I used that as my name tag on this.On 01/08/2019 at 02:50, Abbey M. said:
Hey Chris! So the surgery went good. The only pain I really have is not from my incisions but in my diaphragm area. I do have an incision right there so I don’t know if it hurts from that or trapped gas, but it’s literally the only thing that hurts. I’ve had no problem at al drinking Water and eating popsicles. I feel good if it just wasn’t for that darn spot on my diaphragm :-/
The incision by your ribs is where the liver retractor was. I'm guessing the pain you're feeling is not from the incision but from the gas. I had a lot of gas pain afterwards. Other than the gas pain it was a relatively easy recovery for me. With the gas keep taking those full deep breaths and keep walking around to help move that air on out.
I'm so glad everything went well for you!! -
I still have my sweet tooth unfortunately!!! I was hoping that would go away! I've always struggled w resisting sweets. Hoping it won't be my down fall downthe road.Zebby67 reacted to this

yeah. I don't have a ton of restriction or notification on fullness, but I do have some. I may have been eating past it but now I'm trying to pay closer attention to the little voice that says
"bihhh, you're done." 😎

Question for you...I'm still new to this website and trying to figure some stuff out still. How do you comment on a specific pic?
Have y'all heard of CauliPower pizza? I live in Texas and they sell it in the freezer section down here (HEB). So if your wanting a pizza fix this one was pretty good. I could only eat a small slice but def gave me a pizza when having that urge. I want to send the pic of the box but it wants me to allow this website access to all my photos?!
Try a cucumber(English-less gas) w chicken breast and a little bit of ranch. So good!! I put a small amount of ranch on the side and dip sometimes...sometimes not. Good w or without
Who has had the sleeve? How did you do? Pros and cons? Would you do it again?

Losing that much is great and I look so much better in clothes but geez naked not so much. At 44 your skin doesn't bounce bk and I haven't helped it much by not working out like I should. So if I were you try to do light weight training to build muscle so you do t become saggy. My "girls" are deflated and very very sad. BUT once I lose that last 30 pounds I'm going to give myself a goal of keeping it off for a year. So once I hit my goal weight I'll count 12 mos from then and if I keep it off and maintain (I WILL!!) then I'm treating myself to some new breasts!!
