Try Vital Protien collagen Peptide-
You get your Protein and it makes you go the restroom. It WORKS. I buy it st my grocery store but you can get it online too. -
HEB is a popular grocery store down here in Texas. I love my HEB!!On 03/20/2019 at 14:04, ummyasmin said:FluffyChix and Nic C reacted to this -
Taking laxatives or stool softeners long term I don’t think are good for your system and you can’t take them everyday for the rest of your life.
Another person that had a sleeve done as well recommended collagen Peptide and it has been great! Helps w hair nails protien and being regular! Hope this help someone -
Vital Protiens collagen Peptide. It’s unflavored. I put a scoop in my coffee in the morning-and voila! I get to be regular and also it has protien in it.On 03/20/2019 at 10:30, Tejee said:
Guys... I know this sounds really gross but I am seriously struggling to use the bathroom (number 2)...I am 6 weeks post OP and I go maybe every 4 or 5 days and it is these massive boulders that I cry to get out... literally cry. I know it's most likely the Protein and the Vitamins. I need help. I dont want to take laxatives because they honestly do nothing for the impacted stool already stuck in my bowels. How on EARTH do you stay regulated? This is the worst pain I have ever had. Any advice, foods you eat to go, regiments, would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you thank you thank you.

Recipe please?!On 08/21/2014 at 09:42, jess9395 said:
I freeze it in half tsp size balls and then eat it frozen as a finger food! Weird I know but started as a way to keep it from going bad in the fridge bc the rest of my family won't eat it.
I also have a recepie for Choc chip "cookie dough" hummus! It adds Peanut Butter and a touch of maple Syrup and a few semi sweet Choc chips and tastes just like Cookie dough! Satisfies my sweet tooth!

I haven’t ever seen coconut almond butter...does the coconut make you have to use the rr? (Which is a good thing for us sleevers )On 03/19/2019 at 14:35, Naughty Glitter Goddess said:

I’ve been hovering at 154-155 now (lost 76👏🏻👏🏻)and I think it has to do w the candy I eat and not going to the gym as much as I should.
I have this huge fear deep down inside of failure. Will I get to my goal by 13 mos and maintain Like everyone knows I had the sleeve and then “what if” I fail as I have so many other times with “diets”.
Anyone have this fear inside of failure?
I know you can’t live “what iffing” your whole life but this is suppose to be a new beginning. I just don’t want to be five years down the road and the weight start creeping back. -
Did you have the sleeve or the bypass? I don’t have any dumping. I did the sleeve. On 03/14/2019 at 11:19, ummyasmin said:
Tell me about it. chocolate is my kryptonite. Luckily (or unluckily) these days it makes me dump if I have more than a little bit and the sugar free stuff makes me spend the night on the porcelain throne. I paid good money for precisely that!

From your lips to Gods ears. I have a terrible sweet tooth that didn’t go away. Lately I’ve indulged too much in sweets. On 03/12/2019 at 13:45, ummyasmin said:
9. One piece of advice I'd give to myself a year ago today: concentrate on Protein and produce, you can give up the sugary stuff! It's doable!

Sure!
4 cloves garlic
3 t ginger paste
⅓ c Rice wine Vinegar
½ c soy sauce
¼ c sesame oil
2-3T tahini (you can sub Peanut Butter here)
Add sweetener to taste: liquid Splenda or swerve
Before adding sweetener, blend all ingredients in food processor. Then slowly add sweetener to taste. It's really tasty without the sweetener as well!

When were you sleeved? On 02/22/2019 at 16:35, Jendkopp said:
Anyone get sleeve surgery and find out their surgeon made their sleeve too big? How did you determine that? Did you get re-sleeved? Did re-sleeving make you more successful? Thanks! -
I had my sleeve in July as well. I don’t have any dumping. Kinda wish I did so when I made poor food choices then I’d see the effects immediately and tend to not do that again. On 03/04/2019 at 18:52, soccrmom23 said:
HW was 265.... 8 months post op i'm currently 175....teetering in the 170s for about 1-2 weeks now need to get over the hump. My problem-i'm a snacker. I don't choose awful things to snack on but I find myself shoving stuff in not necessarily because I'm hungry. I do switch up my diet instead of the same old meals and i've re-introduced Protein Shakes as an alternative. I do go to the gym 3-4 times a week but also have bathroom issues if anyone whose had sleeve is aware what i'm referring to. One of the unpleasant side effects. I have not gained fortunately but i'm ready to get over the hump.
I actually put collagen in my coffee in the morning to try and keep me regular. I’ve actually had the opposite effect. -

Are you drinking with your meals...I was told nothing to drink 30 min prior and nothing 30 min after was what I was told. I know every plan is diff depending on your surgeon but that is what I was told.
