All my family is from New England! Lowell and Springfield. Even though we are in Texas my mom still roots for the Pats. I was born there but I root for the Texans or Astros first and then the Pats or the Red Sox’s. Anyways that’s AWESOME that you are in a shirt that didn’t fit before!! It. Looks baggy too!! Great job!!

Had sleeve with hiatal hernia repair as well. No pain. Had gas pain from the air they put in to see but that went away within a week or two. All and all easy recovery for me. Good luck and well wishes for a speedy recovery as you start your new beginning!

45 Texas sleeved July 2018. In maintenance -
Well feel stupid now that I posted that. Looking back to the first time. It had been a busy day and that was my first time that I sat down that day and ate something. Today same thing. Not a “meal”. So I’ve answered my own question. Bc this has only happened those two times and they were both days I got too busy to sit down and eat a meal u til later. Usually I’m really good about it. Well there ya go. No way to take down a post huh?

I put this on here bc I’m on maintenance too. I’m 14 mos post op.

Any of y’all ever just get nauseous for no reason what so ever? It’s happened twice recently. Once last week while I was eating chicken (rotisserie) and broccoli. Had that before and never got sick. I was a few bites in and suddenly I got a really watery mouth and felt like I was going to throw up. I got up real quick and ended up not throwing up and the feeling was gone as quick as it came. Then today, watching tv, sudden nausea, watery mouth, this time I dry heaved a few times. Nothing was there to come up bc I hadn’t eaten dinner yet. Just had some goldfish crackers and a buttercup (I know that’s bad). This happened like 45 min after I ate that. The two things from each time that I ate were so diff yet the same symptom out of the blue. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I’ve noticed weight loss calories are not a one size fits all. What were your weight loss calories before you started using the lose it app? You may need to dial your calories up or down to find where your body loses weight. I didn’t track them before. I do really well with meals but I have a big sweet tooth with Hot tomales candies and m&ms. I wasn’t realizing how many I was eating so I started tracking it and reduced it to pretty much no m&ms and 21 pieces when I have the hot tomales. Which is like 220 calories so I log it and it keeps me accountable and I actually eat less candy this way and less often. I didn’t realize the few handfuls here and there that they were adding up. So now that I’m logging everything it’s made me realize a lot. Food wise I’m doing really well. It was the candy that I wasn’t. Anyways that’s what made me start logging.

Omg i thought that was your body too!! I was OMG you look AMAZING! I was goi g to ask what your ab routine was and pray for that to work on mine!!

Oh I’m 5’4 1/2 surgeon goal for me was 145. I reached 135. Online says ideal weight for my height is 120s

I’m using the Lose It app. I am currently maintaining at 135. I put in the appt for a goal of 125 so it keeps my calories at 1332 a day. Is that too many? Too little? I put 125 in to see if I can get to that weight but so far no.

Thank you!!

I should also mention I’m only 15 mos out. I have noticed being hungry more often. I tho k I need to up my water in take but sometimes that’s hard bc of planning around eating and taking small sips

That’s awesome and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Mine is this month too! Libra?

I do all of that except the fat percentage. I weigh every day. I know people say that’s not a good thing but for me that is what works for me and helps me stay on top of any changes before they become out of hand. I have a ten pound window I keep myself in. My goal was 135. I keep myself between 130-140. I like to sit right around 135. This is what works for me. It’s not for everyone but it’s how I stay on top of my weight maintenance

Has your shoe size gone down? 100+ pounds gone
Kris77 replied to AchieveGoals's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I went from a size 8 1/2 to a size 7. I went from 231-135. -
Log your food. I use Lose It. You don’t realize all the calories going in until you see it in print. You can do this. Grab a hold now before it gets out of hand. Get with your Dietitian and see what she can suggest for you. Good luck. You can do it!

Food Before and After Photos

Yum!!! What sauce did you use? Recipe please?!😊 -
I put a cap full of miralax in my coffee every morning. Works.
-
I don’t do any pasta or bread. I keep those off limits. Too heavy. Usually when I make spaghetti we make it on a night after another meal so I just eat the leftovers from the previous night instead. Spaghetti is my youngest sons fav meal too.
