Weight loss with breast loss
- Fluoxetine capsules
I saw my psychiatrist today and my Prozac isn't time-released, so it's okay. She said that because of my sleeve surgery I can't do time-released medication because nothing stays in the stomach long enough to release- Why is ibuprofen a no no?
I think they said it irritates the stomach lining and/or causes ulcers. I use generic Tylenol/aceteminophen- Weight loss with breast loss
I have larger breasts, even at a lower weight, but with age, gravity, and excess weight they are saggy, so I'm thinking about a breast lift when I reach my goal weight.- Stomach "growling"
I'm 3 months post-op and have gurgling sounds that can after I eat and they can get quite loud- When to ask for surgery date
I knew it was time when I had all pre-appointments and surgical clearances faxes to my surgeon's office, then I actually got an email from my insurance company telling me surgery had been approved for such-and-such date.- Puréed recipes
No-noodle Cheese Lasagna – Pureed Food Ingredients: -3/4 cup fat free or 2% cottage/ricotta cheese -1/4 cup marinara or spaghetti sauce -1/4 tsp oregano -1/4 tsp basil -2 egg whites -1/4 cup 2% milk mozzarella cheese Directions: Mix cottage/ricotta cheese, egg whites, oregano, basil together and place in an oven proof dish. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20 minutes or heat in the microwave until hot and bubbly.- I originally posted this in the wrong area... But my question is about crushing pills.
My surgeon didn't tell me to crush them. I've been swallowing them ever since discharge from the hospital with no trouble.- TEDTALK food addiction.
This was my first-ever TED Talk. Thanks for sharing. Very informative.- What about excess skin?
That's a topic I'm going to explore about a year from now once I've reached goal weight and stabilized.- TERRIFIED of gaining weight
I've never watched those shows about obese people, but I too am scared of regaining weight. I'm only 3 months post-op and have lost 1/2 of the weight toward my goal, but I worry that one little piece of bread at lunch is going to make me gain weight. I'll just keep moving forward.- ThermiSmooth Body Procedure
I've been curious about cool-sculpting as an alternative to plastic surgery- Optifast flavor improvement
Sugar-free popsicles are a lifesaver! I don't know Optifast because I've only ever used GNC Lean Shake pre-mades. Good luck finding additives to make them more palatable.- Progress 9months post op
Congrats! Way to go! I want to be you when I grow up! I'm just 3 months post-op and have another 60 pounds to lose.- The dreaded gas
Yes, we were told about it in our pre-op class and told to expect it, where to expect it, when to expect it, and that walking was the best thing we could do for it.- Grapefruit
How are you getting in your 60 g of protein daily? Any protein shakes or supplements?- Getting cold feet...
Yes, those are perfectly normal and natural feelings and concerns to have pre-surgery. Most of us have had them too. I can tell you that I worried about undergoing a "needless" surgery with possibilities of infection and dying just for weight loss, but then I recognized that weight was related to health and I wanted to be healthy and live longer. The first day after surgery and the nausea makes you question your decision, but each day after that solidifies the good choice of having the surgery. I'm just shy of 50 pounds down now and looking forward to another 50! I couldn't have done that without surgery.- Pre Op Diet & Low BMI
If you're already approved for the surgery, I wouldn't worry about any additional weight loss, but concentrate on making sure I followed directions for pre-op diet and had my liver the right size to avoid complications.- Food Funeral
No. my surgeon warned me about having a blowout before the surgery, so I didn't do it. I transitioned for a month before the pre-op diet to eating like I'd be eating post-op to prepare myself. I wanted those memories of chocolates and pizzas long out of my system.- Isopure protein powder
That's great. I'm too lazy so I still use the premade. I use GNC Lean Shakes.- Meal intake post op
3 small meals and 2 small snacks- Post-op Weight Gain
Same thing everybody else has said - i.v. fluids from the hospital stay. Your body will figure everything out in a few days and you'll normalize.- Sleeve January 16, 2019
Your body may not be ready to tolerate solid foods yet. Go back to soft foods and introduce one food at a time.- Questioning the surgery...
You have to decide for yourself and do this for yourself. Do you really want to be healthier? Do you want to be more active? Do you want to stave off diseases that come with obesity? Stick to your decision. - Fluoxetine capsules
