    Factor 5 Leiden

Thank you! Did you have shots to take home also? I planned on walking a ton and I also have the massaging calf thing at home I plan on using! No, I didn't have to do the shots or blood thinners
  2. 9 weeks and 50 pounds? Wow! Way to go!

    Stomach Growling!

My stomach makes growling noises, but I haven't had any hunger issues.

    Factor 5 Leiden

I have that too but I didn't have any trouble with blood clots. I made sure to walk around a LOT in the hospital and once I got home post-op and while you're in the hospital they use those things that massage your calves to prevent blood clots and I made sure to use them any time I was in the bed.

    Eating disorder preop

Surgery doesn't take away the head hunger. That's something you have to work on.

    Goal Weight

I can relate to what you're saying. Now that I've lost weight I feel even fatter than I was when I started and I worry so much about it. Congrats on your success, you look great!
  7. You can go an hour without drinking water.

    December 2018 Sleevers!

Thanks for posting that chart! Makes me feel a WHOLE lot better about what I thought was slow weight loss.
  9. Thanks for sharing. I sometimes can't believe how many cookies I used to eat.

    Bathing Suits

I never worried about being seen in a bathing suit, even at my heaviest. I enjoy the pool, so I didn't care what other people thought.
  11. That's a shame. I've heard of other people not liking protein shakes on here in the forums. I like them. I use premade GNC Lean Shakes (chocolate)
  12. I still like drinking protein shakes, but I learned from the article that eating solid food is important, so I'll try harder to do that. Good article, thanks for sharing.

    Air Fryer

I haven't tried an Air Fryer. It is worth it?

    Less than 24 hrs

Good luck with your WLS journey and take care after surgery.
  15. Sorry you're going through this. I haven't had any vision issues.
  16. Why would I do anything with my old pictures? I've donated the larger clothes to a charity thrift store.

    Gastric sleeve surgery leak

Your poor thing. Such a lot to go through. Praying for your recovery and healing.

    Depressed

There's an infamous Week 4 stall that nearly everybody goes through. It's normal. No worries. Let the stalls happen and the weight will get moving afterward. Your body just went through a major trauma. It's trying to catch up.

    Bypass or Sleeve?

It's talked about a lot here on this forum. Check out the posts of people who've had each and the pros and cons of each. It's a personal decision that's up to you. I chose sleeve and I'm happy with it.

    I'm in Onederland!

    Hooray, good for you!
  21. I didn't tell anybody. I still haven't told anybody. A few people have asked "How are you losing your weight?" and I just shrug it off or say, honestly, "Diet and exercise"
  22. I didn't need help.
  23. I saw mine once before surgery, had a phone conversation and have seen her twice post-op. She's available to me at no charge at any time.

    2nd week weight loss stall

Stalls are normal parts of the weight loss process and we can't prevent them.

    Longest stall ever!

Wow, good for you toughing out that stall!
