    Yogurt

Yoplait YQ is my favorite!!! I like all the flavors but coconut is my #1. 15g of protein.
  2. Yes that doesn’t make sense especially with the ibuprofen I was told I can never have that again!!! I know everyone says it and it’s hard to believe right now but it will get better soon. I’m only 6 weeks out myself I had gastric bypass on 12/24. It’s been a roller coaster for sure! I know a lot of people sleep in a recliner for awhile..I don’t have one but I have a tempurpedic adjustable bed which got me through those rough days! I don’t think I could have done it without those pain meds!!! Maybe your primary doctor would prescribe you some?
  3. Wow so glad to hear he is being supportive and that you are doing well!! But no pain meds?!? Why wouldn’t they give you any? My doctor wouldn’t let me leave the hospital without them! I couldn’t even imagine.

    ❤ FEBRUARY 2019 CHALLENGE ❤

Ok, looks like I have a lot of catching up to do!!! Day 1: RNY 12/24/18 HW 224 SW 204 CW 182 Current Pic included... Day 2: The one feature I love about myself is my eye color, I guess I just like my light green eyes... Day 3: My best personality trait would be my ability to make others laugh and have fun when spending time with me. Day 4: Wow this one is a hard one. I forgive myself for emotionally hurting ones I love for my own selfishness. 5: Funny, Talented, Strong 6: I feel like I’m really good at my job because I love to talk with people and I know everything about the company I work with which makes it easy and fun!! Goal: I would like to lose 7 pounds this month!

    Fluids after surgery

Only thing that got me through was half orange juice and half water. I’m still struggling...5 weeks out today.

  8. My surgery date is 12/24!! The very few who know have been very supportive and encouraging. I chose who to tell, but surprisingly my 16 year old son is the only one that gave me a lot of grief. My BMI is actually 37. He feels I don’t need to do this and thinks I can lose a *few* pounds on my own as he says. (It’s amazing how our children see us, he tells me I’m perfect everyday.) I know it’s scary for him, I talked to him about it like this... I told him about all my co-morbidities and how much this is going to help me. I told him it’s not JUST about weight loss but it’s about curing my GERD, High blood pressure, everyday aches and pains (which I think is Fibromalgia), sleep apnea, and the list goes on. I think it helped, but I know he’s still worried. So if anyone has anything negative to say I’ve decided that’s exactly what I’m going to tell them.
