Thanks ♥️ ...but the position of my arm is hiding my glorious batwing. And the loose skin on my stomach is much more prominent in real life. Though I'm relatively good with it for now. I mean, I did wear this outfit in PUBLIC. lol. I would never have dared do this before. I wouldn't have even walked around in something like this in the privacy of my own home.

I dunno about #1 and #3, I don't see any obvious cause-effect of these in my experience. For #2 (not eating enough) I find the opposite is at play for me. The longer I don't eat, the less hungry I get. As for #4 (not sleeping enough), this I think rings true. I am hungrier the longer I am awake; also noticed that weight loss slowed down (or stopped altogether) when I didn't get enough sleep..possibly related to being hungrier therefore eating more? -

oooohhh...that dressing sounds yum, plus I have all those ingredients in my kitchen at the moment, so bonus! going to make this for my salad tomorrow . It's good to hear from people at all different stages! also...congrats on your weight loss, you are doing really well for 8 weeks post op ♥️ -
I’m having surgery tomorrow and I just want to know...

^^This. You will be more than likely (if not definitely) be able to eat all the food you ate before surgery eventually. -
...and here is the OOTD after a shower. It's laundry day and I put on a pair of Mr's shorts for the time being as mine were all in the laundry room. The shorts are probably 3 or 4 sizes too big for me. Excellent example of how ill-fitted clothes can be less flattering than properly fitted ones.

The OOTD for this morning as I was out and about doing a bunch of errands, then my run, and then some strength training. MInd you I had a hoodie on for the errands and the first 2 km of the run. All sweaty in this pic, but did not actually feel hot (As an aside I find this really weird: I will notice that I am dripping in sweat when I run but I still feel kind of cool and feel fine wearing a hoodie/sweater. I will take it off eventually though, not because I'm hot, but because the sweater is getting wet...anyone experience this odd sweaty-but-cold thing too? )

Went to a food festival tonite, so meal #3 is estimated amounts - I eyeballed everything. 1) coffee + stevia sweetener (2 cals) 2) Salad with 3oz avocado + 2 of grilled chicken (246 cals) 3) 3 GIANT oysters + 3 oz grilled chicken kabob + 1/4 corn on the cob + 2 tbsp brownie with frosting + probably .5 tbsp of added sugar in the kabob marinade (471 cals) -

Beauty: Yeah, I seem to be posting a lot of food pics lately, but went to a street food festival tonite and ordered these beauties: BBQ'd oysters on a half shell the size of my OPEN HAND. #yum #yum #yum

I used to take Clearlax (aka Miralax) everyday to keep me going. But since I stated adding chia pudding into my diet every other day or so, I will only take the Clearlax if/when I haven't gone by the 3rd day, which has been maybe 2 or 3 times in the past 2 months. Although, I have also increased the amount of fat I eat in the past two months, so that probably helps the poops coming too...

How to choose a realistic goal weight
ms.sss replied to ValerieInMexico's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Started out at 235. My surgeon said I can safely expect to get to 160-170 by my one year anniversary. Pleasantly surprised us both when I got to the mid 160's at my 3 month post op checkup. I had picked an ultimate personal goal of 120, for the only reason that it was in the middle-ish of the healthy BMI range for my height. I got to 127 at 7 months, and decided to stop as I felt I was getting to small. Am at 9 months post op today and weighed in at 116.2 this morning. Long story short, once you are on your "forever diet" I suspect our bodies decide what a realistic weight will be. -
Your clothes are killing me. I love the colours ♥️

Wow...so french-countryside-picturesque -

Day 23 Toned and Sleek Arm Challenges done. Also did a 7.5km walk/run this morning. ❌ I was just reading the goals I posted I would do this month and was reminded that I pledged to do some butt exercises every day this month...and I totally did not do any. Oopsies. So I guess I have to do some butt exercises now.... Smile: Here is my attempt of this on my salad. I clearly have too much time on my hands.

I have 2 each of the short and long leg lengths of these. They aren't technically high waisted, but I seem to have long-ish torso, so they end up high waisted on me....so if you are long torso-ed too, bonus! They don't so much squeeze you in (which makes them super comfortable to wear all day long), but more smooths everything out so you don't see panty-lines or little flab bumps. And they are relatively cheap https://www.jockey.com/catalog?department=women&category=underwear&style=slipshort

Loving this fashion show we are getting from Brazil ♥️

yeah, Canadians seem to want to complicate spelling, lol Tip: I only seem to find these at NO FRILLS or LOBLAWS grocery stores (despite what Google says). I like them also because they are sweetened with Stevia vs.. Sucralose.

5'2" Female Maintaining 8.5m post-op July 22: 388 calories, 30g carbs, 19.5g fat, 37.4g protein. Alrighty, so I knew I was going out to an all-you-can-eat (self-cooking) Korean BBQ for dinner tonite, so I basically saved my day's calories for this meal...which sort of backfired as I didn't eat as many calories as I anticipated I would. (All amounts are approximate as I didn't have a scale on me ) 1: coffee + stevia sweetener (2 cals) 2: 1 oz grilled shrimp + 1 oz grilled chicken + 2oz Kalbi (short ribs) + 1oz grilled pork loin + 1oz grilled pork belly + 1 tbsp kimchi + probably 2 tbsp of added sugar in the various meat marinades (386 cals) (btw, got all this food in over a 2.5hour period.) -
Day 22 Toned and Sleek Arm Challenges done. Did not go out for my daily walk/run that I planned to do after dinner as it's raining pretty hard out right now...AND I've changed into my pj's so I'm done for the night. lol Orange: This is my latest thing-du-jour: Water enhancers. A good portion of my daily water quota has been sparkling water with a squirt of this stuff. I also have other flavours, but this one is my favourite.

@KarenLR75 ^^^ this is a very good idea. Hope the swim lifts a little of your funk. Hang in there, Thrusday is a mere 3 days away and pre-op will be over. ♥️

whoa. you look super trim! (and it looks like you are shrinking out of your shorts )
