Haha, it was part hungry heifer (because of my empty insides from the dumping the day before) and part a concentrated effort to get calories in. MFP says I only averaged 1000/day calories last week, which is a relatively big drop from my 1500 average the couple weeks before (though I still didn't get in as much as I wanted yesterday...will try again today). -

Korean BBQ is in my top 3 of eating-out-cusines: all protein, all the time! lol. Plus, I can take over the BBQ-ing duties since I don't eat much, plus it makes the fact that I don't eat much less obvious, plus I can actually eat warm/hot food for the entire meal! Win-win-win. 😎 Kimchi: YUM. -
Hi! I see you are from Ontario...so I printed out the fact sheet from the OBN website, handed it to my Dr., and said “I want this”. ...and he said Yes. So long as you have a BMI of at least 40 (or 35 with at least 2 co-morbidites), you’re all good ❤️

Yesterday's Menu - August 1st: 5'2" ♀️ 9m post-op, maintaining Note: times listed are when I FINISHED eating... 11:30 am: chicken broth -- 8 cals 1:00 pm: salad + .75 oz duck breast + 2.5 oz grilled chicken + .5 cup mango salad -- 226 cals 2:20 pm: 1/2 cup greek yogurt + 1oz blueberries + 1 fl oz pumpkin seeds + 1 tbsp almond butter + .5 scoop chocolate protein powder -- 320 cals 5:30 pm: 2.8oz cucumber + 1 tsp wasabi dipping sauce -- 22 cals 6:00 pm: 2 cups black coffee -- 10 cals 9:30 pm: salad + 3oz grilled asparagus + 3 oz grilled salmon -- 231 cals 10:00 pm: 1 pumpkin crisp -- 90 cals 10:30 pm: 1 cup black coffee -- 5 cals Totals: 913 cals, 81g Protein, 41g NET carbs, 65g fat DInner was a marathon. My dinner-companions already finished their meals & desserts and were on their second cups of coffee while I was still working on my salmon. Fortunately they are all used to my snail-paced eating so it was all good. -

I didn't start eating nut butters until after I was done losing weight because of all the calories. I do eat it regularly now though, for the very reason I avoided it before.

If you don't mind me asking, how long ago did you get it done and what did you get done? (I'm booked for an arm lift in December and my ears prick up whenever I hear/read about someone with plastics experiences....)

I lost some height too! I started off at 159cm and now I'm 157cm (yeah, the dif is like 0.8 inches, but thats alot for us shorties!!)

Well, my stay on the throne lasted about 40 minutes, so it wasn't what I'd call "immediate", lol. But once what seemed like my insides were COMPLETELY empty, I def felt better. -

OOTD for Running errands today...(grocery shopping, getting the car serviced, dropping off bags of clothes at thrift store, returning an ill-fitting skirt, and on the hunt for a pair of beige-slingback-high-wedge-espadrille-vacation-shoes 🛍️)

VSG: October 24, 2018, in maintenance. July 1st Weight: 118.5 lbs July 31st Weight 115.1 lbs July Goals Results: Keep weight stable-ish and maintain a BMI of no less than 22 I dropped down to a BMI of 21.2, but I think I'm ok with this. This is still in the healthy range for my height, so am not going to sweat it that much. Plus I'm counting on the weight to bounce back up a few pounds eventually. Complete every single one of the arm challenges. I can say I did all the challenges this month...I missed a couple days here and there, but I made up the missed sets on the following days. Firm up my butt, lol. Not sure how to measure success on this one, but will do a bunch of squats, leg lifts and bridges anyway. Every. Day. ❌ I CAN NOT say I did this every day, lol. First I totally forgot I even said I would do it, and then I just said eff it. Take pretty pictures. I tried, thats what counts, right?!?! July Arms Before and After: At first I thought I didn't see a difference the arm exercises made, but now that I put the pics side by side, I do see a tiny bit of difference, after all... (and of course my excess arm skin is still in all its abundant glory...)

Yesterday's Menu - July 31st 5'2" ♀️ 9m post-op 115.1 lbs (maintaining) It's after midnight, so I figure I can write this up now. Spoiler alert: the day ended with a big downer... 10:10 am: 2 cups black coffee (10 cals) 2:30 pm: *only ate 2/3 of this* salad + 2 oz grilled chicken + .75 oz duck breast + 1 oz feta cheese + 1oz carrots (227 cals) 4:40 pm: *ate the remaining 1/3 of my 2:30 meal* 6:30 pm: 1/4 cup low cal ice cream + 1/4 cup brownie w/ frosting (330 cals) 7:30 pm: *drinks and apps at a bar* 1oz beef jerky + buffalo cauliflower + blue cheese dip + 1/2 a vodka caesar (550 cals) Totals: 1117 cals, 53g Protein, 66g NET carbs, 79g fat 10:45 pm: suspicious tummy rumbling begins... TMI ALERT!! So the ride home from the bar was pretty stressful as 2 minutes after I got in the car, I suddenly needed to get to a washroom BADLY..something apparently didn't agree with me and I had some explosive poop as a result. Luckily I made it home before the explosion happened in my pants. I suspect the dumping was due to the blue cheese dip, but it could very well had been the cauliflower, it was especially greasy and I ate quite a bit of it. Or...it could have been the brownie I ate beforehand. The onset of this, however, was much later than my previous dumping experiences as those started within 10-20 minutes of eating the offending food...so yeah, i feel pretty crappy right now -
yep, it hurts to cough. wait until you sneeze. (so long as the pain goes away eventually, you are ok)
