Food Before and After Photos

Well, to put it simply, I just try to do what I did during weight loss phase, just at a higher calorie and macro count. Similar to what @GreenTealael said, I’m not always perfect, but generally stay the course for the most part. If I notice things heading in an undesired direction, I’ll adjust. -
Viking! Haven’t seen a post from u in a while...glad to see/read you Hope all is well...

Same. Stress-eater, no. Boredom-eater, definitely.

BAO buns: Its a steamed, yeast-leavened bread (of chinese origin). There are other versions from other cultures under different names. It’s very soft/spongy and fluffy, and totally delicious. Though I haven’t actually eaten any since surgery, the fam loves it. I can’t think of a similar Western bread to compare to though...maybe someone out there could give an example? -

You could probably pick up a ready made one somewhere, but its better to make your own to tailor to your taste. And yeah, you can skip the oyster sauce (though it helps to thicken it a bit so it clings better to the tofu...maybe sub with a bit of cornstarch or xanthum gum) -

This is one of our go-to tofu snacks, just plain steamed tofu with soy-sesame-oyster sauce-garlic-black vinegar-sweetener and garnish (black & white sesame seeds & green onion) Have also done Kung Pao, Soy-Maple, Black pepper, soy-sirracha, Buffalo... -

Meatballs?! More like burgers! Those things are deliciously massive! ....and the tofu and pork is mouth-watering...now I have to go make tofu. Why do you do this to me?!?! LOL -
I hear ya. My alcohol consumption had increased dramatically since March, which also happened to coincide with my early-covid weight gain.

You look fabulous! Congratulations! Btw, if those are size 34's you are wearing, they are too big, you could go down a couple sizes 😎 P.S. Nice catch!

Jezus. Have you not learned anything at all from your last disastrous “Stop Making Excuses” thread? I get you have limited experience in social situations, but damn, brother, take the effing time to gain some and learn from it. I’m sorry, honestly, because I really do live to give people the benefit of the doubt, but with you, I oscillate between feeling terribly sorry for you and wanting to barf. Please, try and do better.

Duck Breast Bao (I was too lazy to try to Peking it tonight...next time, I guess) I ate 100g of just the Duck Breast with 2 tbsp of the sesame-ginger-garlic sauce: 282 calories. -

Today’s first salad: Romaine, carrots, cucumber, red onion, cherry tomatoes, peaches, feta, prosciutto, pumpkin seeds, vinaigrette. 292 calories, ate about 2/3 of it. -
Well, I think in some aspects the metal thing comes into play. Living in a drastically changed environment so quickly can do a number on you. Anxiety, depression, boredom, etc. 24-access to both your fridge and your TV/couch, for those with small kids, the lack of non-kid time to do anything else, wariness of going outside for walks/runs, etc... In my own personal experience, I gained 6 lbs around Feb-March. Reasons? It was probably a combination of laziness and boredom, as well as slacking on weighing and tracking food and exercising. Is it a coincidence that the weight gain coincided with the beginnings of COVID? Maybe, maybe not. I had to refocus and get back to my "regular" habits and with some dedicated effort, I got rid of those effing 6 lbs. For some, given whatever circumstances they find themselves in, it may be more difficult for them. Just like before WLS, people would question why did we gain so much weight? Why do you even need WLS? Can't you just diet and exercise? Same questioning, just different circumstances. So for all those out there who are finding themselves with the COVID-19-lbs-weight-gain, try as best as you are able to get back to what you were doing when you were successfully losing weight. You did it before, you can totally do it again. Addressing a 10-20 lbs weight gain now is alot more manageable than 50 later. Good Luck everyone, and stay safe ❤️

Love this idea! Though you know, you could always join the ongoing OOTD thread, we looooove ALL clothes/styles/looks ❤️

@Sophie7713 man you have keen eye. You can spot clothing material from a grainy pic and name shoe styles from a tiny peek under a hem! Your white dress is adorable, and looks absolutely breezy. Is it still sweltering down in FL? P.S. and Bobby is the perfect accessory, lol @JRT Mom well technically, I'm 5' 1½"...I round up to make myself feel better. I do think I tend to look taller than I really am when I'm standing by myself. But as soon as a regular height person is next to me, my height challenges are quite apparent. I look I've been zoomed out when I stand next to the Kid. Also, heels are my friend, as is the google search "what to wear when you are short". @GreenTealael One word: SMOKIN'. Ok, ok, 6 more words: I WANT TO BITE YOUR A$$.

Body Lift Surgeon Recommendations?
ms.sss replied to FatboySkin's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Doc said he removed a total of 400g (0.88 lbs) across the 3 procedures, and it was mostly skin. Funny how removal of a measly 400g of skin could make such a difference in appearance. I have no idea if my surgery day size factored into the length of time doc needed to do his thing...though it makes a little bit if sense as there wasn’t alot for him to remove (i.e., not as much “material” to spend time on to have to cut off? I dunno... -
Body Lift Surgeon Recommendations?
ms.sss replied to FatboySkin's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Just a regular tummy tuck (hip bone to hip bone), with muscle tightening and a bit of lipo on the flanks. As far as I know he was the only surgeon in there...i nervous-chatted non-stop with like everyone in the room as I lay on the table and none of them identified themselves as surgeons, lol -
Body Lift Surgeon Recommendations?
ms.sss replied to FatboySkin's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Gonna chime in! First off, did not have my PS done by neither Cardenas nor Sauceda (I had mine done locally here in Toronto). My surgeon is one if the ones who have a time limit to how long he prefers his patients to be under: 5-6 hours. He did an arm lift, breast lift and tummy tuck in me in that time period last December. While I was/am happy to get it all done in one shot, recovery was a b*tch. I think I probably would have had a better recovery time if I did less. HOWEVER: if I had to do it again, I’d still do it the same way as I think I prefer to have ONE longer-ish recovery period vs. multiple short-ish ones. But that’s just me. Super excited for you though, plastics are a game changer. Good Luck! -

Shrimp Ceviche (shrimp, red onion, cilantro, jalepeño, jicama, avocado) on a bed of sushi rice, topped with homemade paprika-spiced pita crisps. (I spent waaaay too much time and effort plating this, lol) I ate about 3/4 cup of the ceviche (sans rice, sans crisps) : 202 calories + some red wine beforehand (+150 calories) + some chicharron afterwards (+172 calories) -

Adding to the end-of-the-white-clothes-embago (à la @JakeH). This is what I wore to lounge by BFF’s pool this afternoon, so I think the semi-nakedness was appropriate. Though truth be told, I sorta like being semi-naked...😂😂😂😂 Not sure if you can tell, but those are pants I’m wearing...don’t think I’ve worn white pants since high school... -
Agreed. I really dislike weight/strength training, but I do it almost every day anyway because I know it produces results.
