Newbie considering surgery. Help with negative thoughts?
Like you one dealt with my weight for years and I had lost and gained weight so many times over the years... WLS was a God send it has literally saved my life. It is not the easy way out there is nothing easy about it... Most insurance companies make you jump through numerous hoops to start with but then you have to be totally committed to a new way of life you have to fight everyday to stay on track you cannot give in to temptations. I feel like you need mental health help before any surgery to deal with mental trauma because you've got to be ready to change your life and open your mind.

And I know I need to gain some muscle and that takes time I just think I've done really well to get this far..

Hello there I just want your opinion. I've been trying to maintain my weight now for a few weeks and I've been slowly adding more calories into my day but I still seem to be staying at a low weight even went down a pound this week. Plus I wanted to show people how my body looks after losing a RECORD 157LBS. I was my highest weight at the surgeons office of 322Lb and just today I weighed in at 165lbs. I know I need to figure out how to gain some muscle and tone up some areas I'm not sure if I'm underweight but my BMI is 22.. I appreciate honest comments I really just focused everything into losing fat and losing weight i probably should have added more exercise earlier on?? I'm not too worried I know I can start a weights regime and gain muscle as time goes on... I'll just need to find a decent P.T PHOTOS BELOW MIKEY.

Good for you starting early.. I did the same woke up one day and decided to start a new diet 2 months before surgery and it definitely helped me. The bypass has been great 7 months later and no issues at all and have lost heaps and feeling great.
