    Confused about ports

You'll have 5 or 6 incision holes from the utensils needed with surgery but some people me included had a drain for a few days just to collect blood and fluids from inside your stomach area...

Should I go through with it?

Absolutely do it I've lost weight many times in my life but never as quick as with the bypass nor have I ever got this low before.... I've been maintaining now for over 2 months and eating much more now and still not gaining weight is like the bypass changed my metabolism I cannot gain weight... I'm like a new person and I've never been this healthy before... I've lost 159lbs in just 10 months.

    Weight gain insurance denies?

Ask her where she's getting her information from of you've called the insurance company? Sure it's not something she personally wants
  11. Do you mean you already have the bypass? If so what's the issues?

How do you eat going out?

Yea didn't bother going out for a few months waste of money when you can't eat but a few bites but later on just order the small portions

    Frustrated with insurance denial

The surgeon should stress how serious it is that you need the revision
  14. Hello there guys. Hope all is well. Well most of you know my story. Started my weight loss journey 10.5 months ago. Had surgery 8.5 months ago. Been in maintenance now 2.5 months. My high weight when I met the surgeon was recorded at 322LBS and I have lost weight really well and consistently the whole time, averaging about 20lbs a month 😁 i got down to 165lbs and have been stable and maintaining that weight for the past 2.5 months, I still check my weight often to make sure I'm not going up and this morning my weight has gone down again.... i don't understand. Like I'm not even trying to lose anymore weight I'm already below goal weight and feeling amazing. In maintenance I've been eating more calories and adding in different foods and some carbs and to be honest I've had a few treats here and there; I honestly believe the bypass has completely changed my metabolism and how my body processes calories 😁 I'm not counting calories as much and enjoying my new life. I'm just wanting people to see it is possible to be successful. Today weigh in - 162.8. that's 159.2lbs lost and that is amazing literally HALF MY BODY WEIGHT GONE......

    CAN'T STOP LOSING WEIGHT??

    My bypass was 120cm

    CAN'T STOP LOSING WEIGHT??

Yeah I'm probably 10-20lbs below my ideal weight and I'm not worried because we all know there can be a 10% weight rebound in the years to come plus when I get to start weights and toning up then I should gain some muscle as well and yes it is possible that maybe our metabolism will change in the years to come so it is imperative to keep an eye on your weight long term Do not get complacent

That's a pretty good number. I'm male 6ft0 I started at 322 and now my lowest weight is 163-164
  18. I was on medication for type 2 and soon as I had bypass I was off meds and normal blood glucose levels since then
  19. Okay I'll start by saying I had the bypass but I've been dealing with obesity for like 20 years I would lose weight then regain it until I got the bypass now it is like I cannot gain weight. I've lost 159lbs in only 8 months
