How to choose a realistic goal weight

BMI IS VAGUE it doesn't take into account a person's frame or build even the doctor said Today surgery is only going take care of maybe 80% of excess weight and after that you may still be in overweight by BMI
  8. Might have posted in wrong section before Looking for some results from men who were 300-350 at surgery date? What kind of results at either 3,6,9,12months? What final weight or goal for men right around 6ft? I'm 34 male 6ft0 321lbs going for RNY soon. My main goal is anything under 200 but no less than 185 I feel is good for my height build. Just looking for STATS? Advice? Thanks
  9. Soon as the Dr saw how bad my sugar levels were he said bypass is the best option for diabetes sufferers, some people have been known to leave hospital diabetes free!

The differences between concentrate and isolate are negligible I've read many articles it's the lactose that is in concentrate that some people cannot stomach but side by side nutrient values are very similar especially when isolate can cost up to double
  18. There does seem to be a lot of pushing of his own products but that's his right and the people who choose to follow it. I personally shop around locally and online always looking for proper whey protein whenever it's on sale

    Talking about WLS with children

I believe everything you will learn to do with healthy eating portion control should be passed onto them there's no reason for children to be obese it is down to the parents to model the good behavior

    prepping for eventual surgery

I doubt Jeff besos would even flinch if Amazon shut down with his $160billion of assets

    New and anxious

No classes here no diet monitoring just bloods and medical history check and weight check all done in 1 visit. next visit next week see surgeon then dietitian before surgery end of sep. As stated before doctor understands surgery is a last resort for most people who have already spent years dieting without success and I've done my own research online the last 12 months anyway..
  22. If my surgery goes ahead as planned end of September then 9 months will be roughly 6.5 months post op and at least 80lbs lost I hope
