I HATE I GOT THIS STUPID SURGERY!

You might have an issue with lactose.. In that case look for natural protein or pea protein or even whey isolate i think...

I HATE I GOT THIS STUPID SURGERY!

Protein is very important..not only does it help your body heal it also helps build muscle and not let your body turn to skin and bones not to mention the added amino acids in most decent protein.. And vitamins are taken daily because you will struggle to get enough from food early on... I've been taking chewable multivitamin I got from the hospital since day 3..feeling good now 2 weeks out... I also disagree with choosing to only follow what rules you like..this surgery is hard on the body and I don't see why you would get surgery Just to sabotage yourself by heading down the slippery slope of cheating.... Everybody says oh I'll only have one cheat meal.. One turns into 2 and into 5...then you'll complain in 6 months why didn't I lose much????
  13. Hey guys felt like writing a separate thread. I had my RNY 7 days ago top be exact. I've always been a big water drinker due to kidney issues. I expected post op not to be able to drink much but I'm still drinking like 3 litres a day just taking smaller mouthful and taking my time between bottles of water but definitely not feeling any issues Drinking this much.. It's like half of what i used to preop but I'm still constantly thirsty postop so water and protein shakes are no issues i just drink slower to be safe.. I'm not complaining it just feels like did I have surgery... Well besides the pain and weird noises coming from inside and the holes in my belly.. I guess when I get onto the next stages of food I'll feel more but the best thing is I'm not hungry much and I don't crave things as much.. But this is early days only 7 days post op thus far. Glad to be home though. Just curious if other people had similar story post op I've seen so many ppl struggling to get any fluids in?? Cheers guys .

Trying to get started, but no idea how!!

Start by removing the bad foods and temptation from your house because I'm sure most insurances require some kind of weight loss before surgery?
  24. Much rather 5x 1 inch scars over a massive long one..
