    Thirty-year-old sleevers

Ordered new fancy scales see what they say but I've been using this one scale for a year now
  3. I only dump or feel sick if I have something that's got abit of fat or sugar obviously 99% of what I eat or drink is really healthy but every so often I'll have a treat and it can make feel yuck and cause diarrhoea Also malabsorption also refers to the fact we don't absorb all the calories or the fats in food we eat not just the vitamins. I'm not sure what my BYPASS technical name was just that my surgeon used 120cm as a good length to be safe but still give me the effects of proper BYPASS but he chooses not to make the pouch so tiny like in the USA he said the tiny egg pouch is not that realistic..

    Need some advice

Look at what you're eating figure out what you need to cut out so that you're eating healthy food high protein low carbs low calories

    Pandemic Weight Gain:(

I should say may. Some people do experience changes in their absorption after like a year or 2 or 5 it all varies per person. just like some people have restriction others don't like most days I don't even want to eat yet some ppl woke up from surgery hungry... There's so many variables with each surgery

    Pandemic Weight Gain:(

Well if you're not using calories then you need to adjust your intake to suit.. But otherwise talk to your Dr if you need a fill? Part of having surgery and a new lifestyle is figuring out how to adjust our diet as we go along; keep a log book of what you're eating and then look back on it to see what changes you need to make I've had the bypass and weight loss has been great but I know one day the malabsorption will go away and I'll have to figure it out..
  7. Is there any issues or problems from such a large bypass??

    Pandemic Weight Gain:(

I think you answered your own question "old habits" I didn't think people still did lap bands..
  9. I was always curious myself about the length of the bypass and why it matters? My surgeon said he did 120cm I think the longer it is the more chance of vitamin deficiencies?

    SEX, SEX, SEX!!!

Could be multiple issues.. maybe he's attracted to larger ppl. Maybe he's just not a sexual person. Maybe he's jealous of your new body. But you really need to have a Frank discussion with him

    Hate bypass

You are giving people bad information about the bypass when it was your 2nd surgery not your first. I had the RNY BYPASS and had not one issue and below my goal weight already and doing amazing!!

    Who started at the 400's

I know you're asking for 400 but I just want to say my highest weight was 322 I'm now stable around 165-168 and below goal weight. so it is possible

    Hate bypass

This is your second surgery it will be different if the sleeve didn't work you have to live with the bypass and get used to it as time goes on okay... I had the bypass and it has been great for me don't feel hungry much and you learn how much your pouch will take to fill.

    Big day tomorrow!

Welcome hope the sleeve is the right decision for you
  19. Well I personally started my own pre-op diet like 2 months early and had lost 65lbs before surgery day my surgeon said that's good because it makes surgery safer and recovery easier basically any pounds you can lose on your own definitely helps.. Now I'm below my goal weight and loving Life.
  20. Hello there I just want your opinion. I've been trying to maintain my weight now for a few weeks and I've been slowly adding more calories into my day but I still seem to be staying at a low weight even went down a pound this week. Plus I wanted to show people how my body looks after losing a RECORD 157LBS. I was my highest weight at the surgeons office of 322Lb and just today I weighed in at 165lbs. I know I need to figure out how to gain some muscle and tone up some areas I'm not sure if I'm underweight but my BMI is 22.. I appreciate honest comments I really just focused everything into losing fat and losing weight i probably should have added more exercise earlier on?? I'm not too worried I know I can start a weights regime and gain muscle as time goes on... I'll just need to find a decent P.T PHOTOS BELOW MIKEY.
  21. Mate everybody knows that you do not lose the same amount consistently like that at all... I lost 40lbs in the first month and then it took me 2 months to lose the next 40 nobody loses weight like that because the less weight you have to lose the harder it will be to lose. Also some people lose 1lb a week others lose 10lb a week it all depends. I'm more than happy with my bypass as I'm in maintenance mode and below goal

    Discouraging friends

Well it's a known fact ppl can lose weight but it's the weight staying off that is the issue and until I have surgery I never lost so much weight and now it's staying off so it's the best decision I ever made and I encourage more ppl to get surgery.. Boobs and fillers are a waste of money and sad that women feel they need to be fake... I personally like naturally pretty or cute girls not ones you can tell are full of Botox.
  23. New&Improved

    Questions

Well you shouldn't be eating anything at all the first weeks should be liquids.. And don't think anybody knows how long food stays in why are you asking
  24. New&Improved

    Discouraging friends

I don't get what the issue ppl have with surgery why is it so normal to have lip fillers. Boob jobs and other cosmetic things but not actual weight loss surgery to save your life??
  25. Yeah if you're paying cash you want to be sure you're ready because it's a big chunk of cash to lay down for surgery.
