  1. I am 3 weeks out from my surgery, still losing at least a pound a day. Eating right, drinking enough liquids, taking all my Vitamins and staying as active as possible. We live in Vegas and the weather is great, my hubby and I like to go for nice long walks on the strip and people watch :) I feel great! Getting really excited, my 3x clothes are already getting to be too baggy for me. I have a donation bag started! I am so motivated to lose this weight and just wanted to see how quickly everyone hit their goal and when the "honeymoon" weight loss stops. I'm truly enjoying the pound a day loss, but don't expect it to continue forever. Hope everyone is doing fabulous!

I have PCOS, and struggled with fertility for years... I conceived with IVF prior to this surgery but complications for PCOS have made this surgery needed. You are doing a great thing for yourself, and I just wanted to say good luck with your journey and congrats on the house!

Thank you so much!!! I feel ya girl. It's the most frustrating thing in the world. Seeing those negative tests month after month 😕 PCOS is just evil. Went for years not knowing what it was, I only found out about 2 years ago after a trip to the ER. I wish you nothing but the best, stay motivated and keep up the good work...we can do this!!! :)

It's an uncomfortable feeling of fullness and pressure right in the middle of my gut.

Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

I had the same feeling several days following my surgery. It was all gas. I founf Gas-X helped a little, but walking helped massively. Even if it's just a few laps around your room or back and forth to the bathroom. Also eating too quickly creates gas and pressure for me instantly. Take small, small bites and try to get that gas/pressure out :) I hope that helps! Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery!

  4. Good morning Beautiful People!

I was wondering how many ladies on here had surgery and had PCOS? I've been trying to conceive for 10 years now. My GYN told me my fertility should shoot up 10 fold (what 10 times nothing? lol) so my hubby and I should be careful. My main reason for having this surgery was to get healthy enough so that I could finally conceive. We're holding for for 12-18 months depending on my weight loss. We just bought a brand new 5 bedroom house. Praying I can turn one of these rooms into a nursery next year.

Would love to hear your journeys!

Hi danieocean! I had surgery on the 16th too! Just starting to eat soft food. I’ve never been so happy to chew! Lol

Last night I made the ricotta bake. It was delicious! I think I didn’t eat slow enough and it was quite uncomfortable though. I also tried tuna fish and that went down ok.

I’m down 14 pounds since surgery and almost 30 since I started the post op diet on October 2. I love the results so far!

    Best of luck to you!

RIght, who knew how much we took chewing for granted?! I've definitely noticed I feel pressure in my chest if I eat too fast or accidentally take a drink of something (that has been a HUGE habit to break). I tried making turkey meatballs last night. Bad idea! LOL I had about 3 bites and my stomach was majorly upset. As of today I am 14lbs down now too! Do you feel like it's not going fast enough for all of this?! I feel frustrated even though I've lost a pound a day so far! I want to get up and exercising next week for sure. Looking at community pools and think swimming would be a good place to start.

Hope you're doing fantastic! congrats on your soft foods stage!

  6. Surgery was on the 16th! Down 12lbs since surgery, 30 total since pre-op diet.

First 2 days, I was miserable. Felt like a human 1 week after.

Having a heck of a time with the Bariatric Fusion shakes...they make me want to vomit instantly. Already starting to eat turkey and chicken (very small, thoroughly chewed pieces) and Beans. Wondering what everyone else is doing and how you're tolerating different foods? Hope everyone is doing well and you're happy!
