  1. Thanks, I thought it was emotional at first, but I kinda have the will to do the things like fixing my own car and doing things at home, going out and even more than before the surgery just end up very tired. I have an appointment with my GP next week. Red meat is the hardest to digest and I usually eat the vegetables/whatever first, there's a good chance I'll leave something behind if it's past my limit. Honestly I'm not sure about hydration, I was told to not drink anything prior and after eating.(I hate it) I also carry a 33oz bottle of water with me, it usually needs to be refilled twice along whatever I drink along the day.
  2. I believe around 1000 to 1200, that depends on how active I am, since I've been pretty sedentary at the moment I've been avoiding overeating which I do mostly for obligation and out of anxiety, since there's something in my head saying "I must eat something" Been eating all kind of *healthy* foods, haven't "slipped" once. I'm keeping my eye on balance and cooking or doing grocery hasn't been easy. Already used to eat healthily, but one ice cream and I would get back 30lbs. Most of my lost weight came off before the surgery, it's sitting at 64lbs loss after surgery, five months.
  3. Hello! I'm happy for having this surgery, been struggling with my weight for years on and off several medications, crazy diets and exercising at times. Everything went well, except I was told by my Doctor and nutritionist to eat more! Especially red meat and proteins and I haven't been able to eat bigger amounts of food. About 5 to 6 ounces of food for lunch is the best I can do. I can barely get through a full glass of water without feeling my stomach. I have absolutely no energy, I used to walk about 6 miles pre-op just fine, now I can't do about 2 and that leaves me extremely tired, I also have to take a nap during afternoon to stay awake until later for work or I end up like a zombie. Every blood test came out just fine including iron, D, B12 (I'm taking a lot of supplements) This is of course slowing my whole process down since I haven't been exercising properly, I lost 64lbs since the surgery and I've been losing about 3lbs per month. Can anyone relate to this? Thanks
