  1. What exactly are you doing and what times?
  2. Hi y'all...i'm Karen, 46 from Arkansas...single and had RNY 07-22-2019.
  3. You'll be fine, stop stressing. That was just a tiny slip up
  4. Don't beat yourself up over it. Start fresh tomorrow.
  5. I'm sure you'll do fine. As the previous poster said, you really don't have any option but to lose weight
  6. I'm 2 months out and still take my Omeprazole daily. I also had severe GERD prior to surgery.
  7. I'm 2 months out and can still only eat 3 bites of anything. Any more and i'm vomiting. Also, chicken almost always makes me sick as do raw veggies. I do well with omelettes.
  8. I was supposed to be there only 1 day but I was still very nauseous and stayed a 2nd night. I live 2 hrs from my hospital.
  9. I"m 8 weeks post op and am just now able to get close to my water goals and then only sometimes. I didn't use those cups, I just sipped from the bottle. Gatorade Zero was my best friend in the first few weeks to keep from getting dehydrated. I haven't had the odd taste in my mouth.
  10. Thanks for the info. I started doing cardio just after 6 weeks getting 10,000-12,000 steps daily and wanted to start adding in some weights. I'm staying away from anything too core related for a few more weeks.
  11. I'm 7 weeks out and struggle daily with meeting goals. I can exercise fine but just can't hold enough to get any significant protein/water. You're definitely not alone.
  12. Ok y'all, tell me what kind of strength training y'all are doing to tone up post WLS. I had RNY 07/22/19 and need some serious advice. My biggest problem area is of course my upper arms but i'm also needing toning in my thighs and booty.
  13. I cheated several times during my pre-op diet but made sure the be super strict the last 4 days and my liver was perfect.
  14. The only way I can see that happening is if your Dr or hospital fell out of the guidelines required by insurance...ex. no longer a preferred facility or maybe your Dr changed hospitals that he uses. The later happened to me and I had to decide if I wanted to change Drs or go with the original to another hospital.
  15. Oh geez...I hope you can get that money back.
  16. Happy surgiversary to you and congrats ?
  17. I haven't taken a bp pill since before surgery. It's been perfect.
  18. I did both lol. Now that i've had my surgery, I can't see how those folks on that show actually gained weight shortly after surgery...it blows my mind.
  19. Welcome. As the others have said, spend this time reading and asking any questions you may have so that you feel super ready come surgery day. Good luck
  20. Thank you. This is a frustrating and exciting journey for all of us and we need support...even if it's only from us here on the site
  21. All your test results should transfer over to your new program. I had a similar experience with my insurance and was very near quitting but managed to hold on and finally almost a year and a half later got my surgery. Hang in there, it's worth the frustration.
  22. I stayed bloated for almost a month.
