  1. It should pass but call your dr. It is probably due to all the sugar in juices. I hope you feel better soon!
  2. I am now taking Ducolax daily for at least a week per the Dr. Last night was day 2.. so will see if it has some good benefits. Seemed to work yesterday but not yet today LOL.. though it is early in the morning.
  3. I wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery.
  4. I am still new to all this, but i wish you the best of luck and that the insurance ends up approving your revision. Keep us posted!
  5. Thanks for all the tips and info. I am sure i will be changing things up soon myself with doctors blessing LOL
  6. I did the enema as directed on Tuesday and last night took the ducolax as directed.. YAY for me! I went today without any issues.. Will see how this works for the next few days!
  7. Good Luck on your journey!
  8. I have not had a second surgery, but i wish you a quick recovery so you can play with the grandbaby in March!
  9. Thanks for sharing. Maybe try doing a reset? I have heard of some folks doing that where they go back to the liquid stage and then slowly progress back through the food stages. I dont know the specifics or time frames for each stage on a reset since i am only 3 months post op.. Hope you are able to get back on track!
  10. Congratulations! Hopefully this time it sticks and we see you on the losers bench soon!
  11. Welcome to the losers bench! Can you give us more details please? There are a lot of different areas you could be referencing. Clarification would really help us respond more clearly!
  12. I was on full liquids for two weeks but it depends on the doctor. I have noticed that all the doctors do it differently. I have seen some on it for a month and some only for a few days or day before.
  13. You look amazing! Great Job!
  14. Outside of cottage cheese, protein shakes, SF popcicles, the only other thing i tried was pureed chicken and tuna as it was soft enough but only if mixed with a mayo/greek yogurt almost like a patee. I also blended a few soups, but not many.
  15. I wish you a speedy recovery!
  16. Let me add.. I no longer drink ready made ones by themselves. Those are reserved as creamer for my coffee! I make all my own from protein powder and i flavor it up with either PB2, or Torani SF flavored syrups and spices, depending on my mood.
  17. I will save this for when i am allowed to have snacks per my surgeon. For the 1st year he does not want us to have snacks at all and to get our additional protein (outside the 3 meals) from a protein supplement drink. After the 1st year, we can swap out the protein drink for protein snacks. I have been eating a lot of salmon, tuna, and ground meats. Chicken doesnt like me yet. LOL.. My issue is getting in stuff outside of protein but not too worried about that as he said to focus on water and protein, and the other stuff will come later. Thanks for the tips Fluffy!
  18. Thank you so much! I am going to take my first dose tonight. I am going to start with 1 tablet. I read the directions and it says 1-3.. LOL.. Since i am cleaned out i dont think i need to overdose!
  19. Thanks Fluffy! I think my issue is being that i am not even 3 mo post op yet. I NEVER get past the protein at each meal! I am lucky if on occasion.. once a week or so.. I make something that has cauli rice and ground meat.. and that is the only way i get anything besides protein in.. Hopefully i can start eating more ( eating as we speak and i am finishing Half a chicken burger that i started yesterday.. and i have the hiccups already and i still have 1/4 patty to go LOL) Thanks for the tips.. I am hoping something gives soon.. On a good Note.. when i go.. I drop weight instantly! LOL
  20. Emotions can get the best of you for no reason! Try not to focus too much on the negative and reel in the positive in every situation so it helps keep your emotions in check. I know the feeling, I cried at work yesterday because somebody said something that was incorrect situationally. I like broke down and thought they were trying to get me in trouble, and maybe they were but my boss was like.. stop crying LOL.. this is not a big deal and if they dont like xyz oh well! LOL.. and today, i went to help somebody.. and i couldnt because her passwords werent working correctly, i asked her to reach out to the IT guy next to her but that girl turned around and said in spanish. which i understand.. I just love the help i get!!! Are you kidding me???? So i went back and instead of snapping her head.. i did a Mufasa Breath LOL.. then went and asked the IT guy to help her. Why couldnt she just ask him LOL.. Oh well~
  21. I too want to be in the middle of my healthy zone. No matter how long it takes! I am hoping i get darn close to it by the time i have the ballroom competition in september!
  22. Are you on anything else for it? I take doculax and Metamucil.. with the occasional nightcap of Miralax. I called my Dr. yesterday. He had me do an enema last night and starting today Ducolax daily until it kicks in my intestines again. However... I dont know if i should do it in the morning or evening LOL.. Any thoughts?
  23. I hope you find something you can drink. This is really tough as it is, nevermind adding in outside restrictions. I am fortunate enough to not need to but i feel your pain. I hope you find something soon so you can get all your protein in.
