Started my journey at 263lbs then on sept 24,2018 @250lbs I had my sleeve surgery done now one month later oct 24 I’m 215lbs I will say this was very hard and this recovery still going can’t wait to start the gym next week and trying food again is hard but I’m so much closer to my first goal now then trying to diet before the surgery I keep my scale close and having kids doesn’t make it any easier they always wants Snacks but my determination to stay on track and continue with me getting and being healthy is at 100% no looking back to the old me ever again

Non scale victory! I bought a straight sized fleece today!!!! 😲😲😲 I couldn’t tell you the last time I shopped from the straight size section (certainly has been years if ever)!

The scales been a little stuck at 253 this week, but my clothing keeps getting looser so things are still happening!

I was sleeved on June 20th, so I just had my three month check-in. I was 360 at the start of my journey, 325 on surgery day, and weighed in at 280 this morning. My dietitian said I'm perfectly average in the weight loss department, so, I am perfectly pleased. I'd been worried I wasn't losing enough, but I'm all inspired to keep going to the gym now. And, you know, avoiding all that Halloween candy...
My only issue was that apparently my high blood pressure from pre-surgery disappeared, but I was still taking my blood pressure medicine, and that meant, yeah, low blood pressure, which was making me all tired and headachey. But now -- no more blood pressure meds! Woohoo!

@leeanna1309, before changing your diet, please please consult your surgeon and NUT. They placed you on a specific diet for a reason. And as @J San noted, there have been horror stories to people that have not followed their plan. A co-worker's friend did not follow her plan as prescribed and ended up in the hospital with numerous side effects, an additional surgery and has been on a liquid diet (aside from feeding tube) for over 3 months.
My own personal plan from my team clearly stated multiple times including words from my surgical team that chewing food to mush is NOT the same as the pureed stage. Remember our bodies require healing from the inside out. You just spent good money to have this surgery, why jeopardize this new gift to allow you to be someone new inside and out.
If you're still on liquids, what helped me is making homemade Bone Broth Soups with hearty vegetables (the Soup was strained for me) or Hearty brothy stews (also strained for me). It allowed me to eat with my family and enjoy the same meals. I ate more soup to get my Proteins (15 per serving vs. 30) in vs just a shake, but my body was better for it. I also heavily relied on sf popsicles and Jello in those early days.
There are lots of threads if you search to give you menu ideas for each stage of your journey. But the one thing I cannot stress enough is don't change your diet before you have consulted with your medical team.
