    @Georgetown—I’ve never heard of a program that RECOMMENDS daily weighing. That’s strange. Usually the recommendation is weekly or less. If it’s not working for you, I’d say don’t do it. Go to twice a week or once a week and see if that is more motivating.

    I was eating under 800 and since I've gone up to 1,000-1,200 I've been losing faster. I jumped from a size 18 plus to a size 16 regular VERY quickly.

    #14 My biggest NSV so far. Last Saturday, I discovered I can pass the Army PT running requirement.
    A group of military recruits were being timed on the same track I was running on. It was an adrenaline rush to see if I could keep up with them. (The average age 17 to 31) I kept up with the person in the lead. I was still on the track running after all the recruits completed two miles.
    Not bad for an old woman who used to be morbidly obese.

    Jan. 14th:
    My biggest NSVs so far are both related to travel and lifestyle. I am a minimalist and a backpacker.
    When traveling prior to this journey I always had to bring my own towel which was a bath sheet (the biggest one). This took up so much valuable backpack real estate it was a crying shame.
    I also had to travel with way too many spare bras (44H) just in case something happened while away, knowing I would not find my size easily or cheaply.
    Now regular towels wrap around/close just fine and I can rest assured that anywhere in the world will likely carry my new and common bra size (38D/DD)

    Jan. 12th:
    How I eat now:
    Sugar. Nah. Stevia
    Cereal and milk. Nope. Yogurt and granola is bae.
    Sandwiches. Ha! Lettuce wraps or ryvita crispbread open-face sandwich
    Salads galore, vegetables abound, tea love, coffee plays (on repeat with Protein Shakes as Creamer or half and half sometimes)
    Most animal Protein consumption still rare, mostly fish
    I ❤ legumes and nuts
    I ❤ spring waters, the better... The better lol. Sometimes I add stur or true lemon Water enhancers to tolerate low class water... The struggle is real y'all
    Splurging when I feel like but honestly if it's says diabetic, Keto or protein in the label lol

    I put a dot on my bottle every time I fill it. Whoever fills it up gets to put the dot so obvs, my kids argue over whose turn it is to fill it so they can put the dot. Then they "encourage" me to hurry up and drink faster. 🙄 Goal is 5/day!

    Lord, power read 6 pages of posts... felt like a workout, but haven't worked out but dang those booty pictures makes me want THAT!
    Staying on track - tracking 12 straight days average cals 1133, Protein 55 - def not enough and carbs way too high average 78.... weight still the same... And I weigh everyday to keep me cognizant.
    Sooo I know the issues that I need to work on. I better get to it.
    Recipe - I will post it later in detail. Thai turkey meatballs and veg, the fam had rice with it.

    Here I am playing catch up! I’ll take a before pic when I get home from work. January goals include increasing my activity by daily cardio on the bike or elliptical and strength training 2-3 times/ week. My major goal of 2018 was actually having the surgery! I had vsg on 10/2/18. Proudest moment of 2018 was a Dec ‘17 - Dec ‘18 F2F that I will include in this post. The best motivation for me is keeping up with everyone’s success! Thanks for the positivity and encouraging posts to everyone! January’s fitness plan is the same as my goals for January. Thanks so much for this challenge! ❤️

    I was on Soups for about 8 months. This was one of my go-to meals. I usually at 1/2 cup servings and I used ground chicken or turkey.

    Recipe: gosh, this is tricky, mostly coz all my good ideas are from others here on BP.
    My favourite Breakfast is:
    100 gm nonfat Greek yoghurt
    8 red grapes
    8 blueberries
    10 gm granola
    1 cap of sugar free syrup
    All mixed together

    My goto easy lunch or dinner:
    In a pan with 1 tsp oil, stir fry:
    - Cabbage sliced up into thin strips
    - A couple garlic cloves crushed or chopped finely
    - some mange tout or green onion or zucchini sliced up
    Cook until soft, then remove from pan with slotted spoon.
    Then in same pan, stir fry some prawns or scallops for a few minutes with a shake of garlic powder, a shake of onion powder and some salt and pepper.
    Add the cabbage back in, toss, then serve and eat!

    2 of my favorite recipes for no brainer food:
    1. Eggwhite puff. Use whatever veg you have/want, meats, cheese. I like to see how much Protein I can get in for the minimum in carbs/cals/fat. So I nuke them in 2 - 4oz ramekins. In 1 I do the baby spinach and mushrooms that I love with a shake of granulated garlic. In the other I put a frozen seasoning blend (onion, pepper, celery), precooked turkey crumbles, 70g of egg whites and a shake of granulated garlic.
    Nuke both until done. I nuke the egg for 20 second intervals and it takes about a minute total. I nuke the veg for maybe 30-40secs. Then I put the cheese wedge on top of the veg and the egg on top of the cheese and go to town on it.
    Here's the non-recipe. And a pic of doing it all in one bowl. No pics from this morning.


    Recipe #2 Green Soup. Use any kind of veggies you have. I like frozen turnip greens, seasoning blend, broccoli, green Beans, squash...anything you have!!! Or fresh baby spinach and mushrooms. Use any kind of meat and combine it so that it's 1cup total volume solids (or whatever you can eat at your stage for solid food). Then I fill with brothy liquid. I slurp the broth with a spoon without the solids until the solids are dry. Then I eat the solids. Sometimes when I'm being good, I will wait a few minutes between the liquid and solids. Other times I don't.
    Here was today's soup, but it varies every time.

    I got 28g of protein in for only about 200cals. Woot!
