  2. Way to go. I have been getting nervous myself and I have yet to have my first dietician appointment. That is coming Tuesday. Then I wait till the day before thanksgiving for psych appointment
  3. I have not had a Coke Zero in 5 days. I decided to quit drinking it or soda in general. I see my dietician for the first time on Oct 9th. Then I have to wait a month till the day before thanksgiving for the psych appointment. So I am cutting out things out of my diet one thing at a time. Candy and chips next. Starting that on Monday. Then in November I am cutting caffeine
  4. My insurance said I can skip the 6 months of weigh ins because my bmi is above 50. I am on the line because I am at 50.5 bmi. So if I lose the weight and drop below 50, are they going to make me wait the six months
  5. Get it done. The longer you take the less you will get it done.
  6. That sounds about right frust8. It was done at Ohio State. Sounds like you should have traveled north to Ann Arbor at University of Michigan. Lol

  11. I was checking my sheet of things I need to get done. The last two things I have is dietician appointment and the psyche appointment. Then I believe they will just need to do paperwork to insurance for final approval. Endo, was crossed off with a majority of the other things. I all ready sleep with cpap so do not need a sleep study. I see the dietician on Oct 9 and psychologist the day before thanksgiving. I figure once I see the dietician my diet will change drastically
  12. Thanks for responding back. I greatly appreciate it. Frustr8 I corrected my username. I appreciate the confidence booster
  13. Hello all, My name is Greg. I have decided to take this journey of gastric bypass surgery. They tell me I don’t need to wait 6 months because my bmi is 50.5. They tell me if you are over 50 bmi then my insurance bypasses the 6 months. So October 9th, I have an appointment with the dietician. Then the day before thanksgiving I have a psych appointment. Any idea how long from there the surgery will be scheduled. This website is great and gives great encouragement.
