  2. I have my final decision appointment January 3rd. Insurance is approved. So hoping in January yet.
  3. Frust8. There is not enough time to do the preop diet. I am hoping to push it off until the end of January
  4. Talked with my insurance and they said I was approved with a scheduled surgery date of January 2, 2019. I chuckled a little bit when the insurance told me that. Because my final decision appointment is January 3rd with the surgeon and nutritionist.
  5. Right now I passed the pre op physical where the did the ekg. Now I am just waiting on approval from my insurance and then final decision appointment with the surgeon and nutritionist. Assuming My surgery will be the end of January sometime

  7. Well, it definitely is heading closer to my surgery. I just had my psyche consult. The results were good and no recommendations. Just keep on what I am doing. I have preop physical on the 11 of December. Then I have a final decision appointment yet to be scheduled with the surgeon and nutritionist. I am looking at hopefully the middle to end of January
  8. My surgeon gave me Foriset. I think that is how it is spelled. I took tylenol when I was younger and my body does not respond to it. My surgeon says it has tylenol, narcotic, caffeine. Gave me it to try prior to surgery
  9. Have not had the surgery yet. I just know the only thing that works for headaches and migraines is motrin and ibuprofen. Trying to get ahead of this now and find a replacement
  10. If tylenol does not work. What is other things you can take
  11. The answer to the question would be true, maybe true, partially false or False. So a question would be, i have never had a problem with alcohol
  12. Things went amazingly well. Felt like I could have talked with the psychologist forever. She pretty much did not have to ask questions. I pretty much told her everything she needed to know. I asked if there was anything holding me back from the surgery based on our conversation. She said that she did not hear anything that would stop me or hang me up to put the surgery farther out. So I wait two weeks and do a phone consultation with her after she has reviewed my 344 question test. Then I will be scheduled my final decision appointment with the surgeon. I feel pretty good
  13. Any advice for this. I am pretty pumped up as this process has been pretty slow
  14. Sorry. I picked up soda when I was in the military
  15. Hello, I am currently going through the process to get gastric bypass surgery. I had an opportunity to do my psych appointment a month earlier because I put myself on the waiting list. I would have loved to but someone is on vacation and someone is leaving us for another job. So we are short staffed. It is all good though. I met with the nutritionist and shared the steps I am taking to get ready for the surgery and she is on board. I quit drinking soda 3 weeks ago. My surgery is with dr holman. What about you. Anyone from West Michigan
  16. Keep your head up. Focus on what your goals are
  17. The process to get to surgery seems forever. Beginning of September I start the process with the seminar. Then I wait till October 10 to see a nutritionist. Now I have to wait till November 21st to do the psych appointment. Wowsers
  18. There is protein eater that does not add calories.
