  1. Happy 38th Birthday bxlisa!

  2. I encourage you to change something routine about yourself. It could be the walking with your daughter or even taking a few minutes to breathe in the car before you drive off to work. Stress sometimes won't let you lose weight. It doesn’t matter exactly what you change, just make yourself uncomfortable by doing something out of the norm and the weight will come off. The reason why we want to change something routine is because we want to stimulate our mind to become more focus and motivated. Once you change something routine, you will find that it’s very stimulating and you will be much happier.

  7. Hi -- Good luck with your surgery! I had my done in New Britain Hospital. Where are you having your surgery? Mine was so smooth that I didn't have to even take pain killers.

  8. During my visits I always felt that I was treated very well. The staff is amazing specially Bariatric Dietitian - Melissa Sullivan and Physician Assistant - Jason Reese. I would absolutely recommend this Dr. Barba to my family and friends. I felt my lap band surgery was an amazing success! BTW - They are also bi-lingual for any Spanish speaking patients.
  9. My surgery when really well. I have dropped a bunch of sizes. I been losing more this year because I finally got the correct amount of fill for the band. I been losing between 3-6 pounds per month. Thanks for getting back to me!

  10. Wow... I just logged on for the first time since I dont know when. How did your surgery go. Sorry I did not respond to you when you contacted me. I been a year and a half for me and I have lost about 55 lbs. I went from size 44 pants to 36. I weigh less now than 12 years ago when I got married. I am so excited. Weight loss has slowed down a bit but things are going good. i think it is better this way. Better than bypass thats for sure. I still have my stomach.

  11. Hi there, long time no speak. How are things going with you? I finally was able to get a fill 2 weeks ago and am down 8#. Drop a line when you can...

  13. I usually slime when I eat too much or too fast. I have been soda free for two years now. I have been learning to stop more often that before each week. I can actually feel the sensation now. Thanks for replying.
  14. Hi All, I‘m really trying not to be so dependent on my lap-band but I actually gain weight in October and November. So my doctor gave me a good fill about 3 weeks ago. I'm currently sliming regularly but I'm losing weight now. I know I need to chew my food better and exercise a little harder but is there any long term effect for sliming every other day??
