I've actually never been to Superior Merchandise. Not looking for a SO but I may have to just check it out because from what you said it sounds nice! I'm assuming original OP lives in our area? I've been to a few of the "meet ups" in the area and they were nice. There's a lot in the capital region. I agree that the way to go is online dating though. That's where you're going to find the most single people. There really isn't anything good in Troy, except for some bars.

Lol. I like to people watch at the rocking on the river concerts. IMO, you're not going to find anyone worthwhile there.
  5. I agree with the plantar fasciitis comment. Cortisone shot should help relieve the pain in no time. I would wait until after the surgery though.
  6. Ah, I will also have to have a drain unfortunately. A little tip I was told by my ex (who also had the surgery) is to clip the drain to a lanyard while you shower.
  7. Congrats on all your success!
  8. Same. Only 1 day here also.
  9. Hey! I'm curious as to where you bought that organic chicken bone broth? It looks good!
  10. Oh wow! 456 to 183 is amazing!
  11. That's the right attitude!
  12. Awww. I'm sorry that you had a terrible time in the hospital but it sounds like you're on the mend! Things will just keep getting better!
  13. Lol aka "fun"
  14. I always love reading what you write on here! You seem like such a fun and loving person! Thank you for sharing your experience with me.
  15. Thank you both! Sometimes I just need someone to talk some sense in to me. General anxiety disorder is the worst.
  16. Totally panicking over surgery that is in 5 days. Can't sleep (1:30am over here). Can't think about anything else. Afraid of death and pain. I really want to go through with this though. I just can't handle my own thoughts.
  17. October 2nd here! Not freaking out about the life after surgery, just freaking our about surgery itself! Lol always something
  18. Also will be having a drain that will be kept in for a week. I heard the drain itself is not too bad but getting it taken out is a bit of a doozy. My mom compared it to "getting a band-aid ripped off but it's on the inside".
  19. Yeah, like I don't want to over buy but I'm also too much of a control freak/over planner to not buy stuff. I'm hoping if there is any stuff I wind up don't using i can give it to a family member or friend.
  20. @CrankyMagpie Thank you for taking the time out to put together this list!
  21. Thanks for all the suggestions! I went ahead and bought some stuff through this website. A lot of varitey packs so that I have options and can see what I like post-op. I am the absolute least picky person currently (pre-op) so its hard for me to imagine being a picky eater or what being a picky-eater is even like.
  22. Also having surgery on Oct 2nd!
