1. Looks delicious, what's in it?
The base is Acai, banana, and almond milk. On top is granola, hemp/chia/flax seed mix, Peanut Butter, strawberries, and blueberries. Measured and logged everything, roughly 260 calories and 33 carbs. Hard to limit the carbs when it comes to fruit. That would probably be about 3 meals for me though.

2. I went to 5 Below yesterday and bought two sets of ankle weights. One for my ankles and one for my wrists. I figure that it will help me when I walk.
It's great to do exercises with ankle weights! Sometimes the resistance from your own legs isnt enough. I use them while exercising with my personal trainer all the time.

3. I put effort in for two years and got nothing. The final straw came when I get likes on my profiles and yet they wouldn't respond to my messages. I then asked myself what's the point? I can just get a cat and be done with it.
Because at the end of the day, most of us want more than a cat and I'm not talking to two cats or a dog. [emoji14]
A lot of people do not respond on dating websites after liking someone because the message you have sent is not original. If a women is recieving a lot messages, a lot if the time she will only respond to the ones that are the most interesting, not the generic "Hi. How are you?"
Dont let the the process get you down! I firmly believe the right person is out there for everyone. Theres a whole lot of people in this world and it ridiculous to think there is no one out there that vibes with you! I wish you the best!

4. I only have 3 days to do on the liquid diet - which I'm ok with as it's a lot less than most seem to be. I have a question - how do they know what size your liver is? Just through the bloodwork? My surgeon's office has this 3 day blanket pre-op diet for everyone as it is in their printed brochures, so I don't think they try to hard to gauge size on an individual basis.
They should have had you do a barium swallow and taken scans (x-rays) where they can see everything.

5. Most people mean well, so I just laugh it off. I generally say something like "I wish!" or "Not there yet!". I turn it into something light instead of getting my dander up.
Yeah, I dont actually respond to the people. I just smile. Not about to cause problems in the office over nothing. I'm more focused on how the comments effect me and how I feel about others.

6. I'm still newly post-op and have only lost 19 pounds, but as I anticipate losing more weight and family asking "Have you lost weight?" I'm just going to try to shrug it off as long as I can. Why do other people think it's okay to comment on someone else's weight anyway?
Yeah, I got the same bs from my family for awhile. Two days after surgery my sister goes "It doesn't seem like the surgery is working for you." Naturally I respond "Its only been two days, you dipshit." At the end of the day rude comments from family bother me less than those from aquiantances.

7. Oct517 DeeberLee Lynnlovesthebeach Hi there...I've experienced the same comments except the cancer one YET whoaaa now that is BOLD!! The work folks can be the WORST unfortunately and when people try to call you out in front of a lot of people that is nothing but a hater bottom line!! Please DO NOT allow anyone to rob you of your joy, they see you happy and feeling good about yourselves and it's really sad but people can be very insensitive.
I do notice that the men that I work with and the regular men customers that come in to my work place are really genuine and sincere.
Now when people make ridiculous comments like these I just start laughing and say and I'm not done yet and keep it moving...No one walked in your shoes before surgery and knew your struggles but YOU. They only motivate me to work harder. I feel great and NOBODY is going to take that away from me. Smile and wave ladies you are doing a fantastic job!!
I wish you all nothing but the best!! ((Big Hugs)) ;-)
Sadly, I agree that all of the negative or off comments I have received have come from other women.

8. The thing I've heard lately by several people is, "I notice you've lost a lot of weight lately, has it been intentional?" I just respond with a polite "thank you and yes it is intentional, I'm not sick." When they ask "how much?" I just say "a lot!"
I notice the people that say "don't lose too much" are the people that also struggle with weight loss and know I am or will be smaller than them!
I've gotten the "is it intentional" thing also. People are so weird about things.

9. Yesterday at work in the break room, a coworker who I haven't seen in awhile said the same thing to me. Then she asked me if I had cancer! Really, how insensitive is that. If I did have cancer, why would you ask that in a room full of people? I was speechless for a minute, then I told her no I didn't have cancer, but thanks for her concern.
Omg! Asking if you had cancer? Some people have a lot of nerve!

10. I've given up. Now I get the occasional woman who will like my profile. I then message her and she ignores me. I don't have the social skills necessary to meet people in real life. I've tried Match, eHarmony and OKCupid. Combined I've sent hundreds of messages. Sticking with eHarmony since they have canned questions to send. Don't feel like putting the effort in. On OKCupid, I was messaged by a professional dominatrix. I was tempted.
If you dont put any effort in, you'll wind up with women who dont take any effort to get..aka the bottom of the barrel
