    Weight Stall Venting

I think you responded to the wrong person. Original poster is the one eating 400 calories a day, not me. I was just talking about being addicted to the scale. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

  5. My phone has stopped displaying notifications when people directly respond to my post or tag me. The only notifications I'm currently getting are when someone likes my comment. I used to get all notifications and haven't changed any of my settings. Is it from an update? Is there a way I can fix this? (I am on an android) Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Weight Stall Venting

I agree but how do I resist the temptation of jumping on the scale?!? I tried putting the scale in an incovienent location and still found myself going through the effort to grab it. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

    October 2018 Sleevers

Not being snarky and never called them a "crazy liar". Simply stating that I don't agree with their justifications and that the statements made sound crazy to me. Stating that you disagree with someone's actions is not bullying. Just like you don't agree with mine but I do not believe you are bullying me. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

    October 2018 Sleevers

It wasn't meant to be snarky. Sometimes you need to have what you're saying said back to you to realize how ridiculous you sound. Poster repeatedly said they do not have a problem because they don't drink to get drunk despite having a shot of hard liquor every day. Also stated that their doc said it was okay for them to be having a shot or liquor every day even though they had their surgery in Oct. Clearly both ludicrous statements but I guess you can't really reason with crazy, can ya? Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Alcohol

Your'e putting yourself at risk by having alcohol within 6 months of surgery. Your stomach is still healing and alcohol is very acidic and can mess with the healing process. You're also at a high risk of developing a dependency issue. Not sure how long post op you'll be by your gold trip? Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

  21. Be honest. Tell her that your taste buds have changed due to surgery. A supportive partner will understand and be happy with you that you no longer have to worry about eating too many. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. I find that whenever I eat food that tastes good, I eat way too fast and get sick/uncomfortable. This has led to me avoiding foods that I really like and sticking with foods that I can tolerate the tastes of of but that are not my favorite. Anyone else have similar experiences?
