I've read about stall but I'm in my 3rd week of ESG with no weight loss the 2nd week and a 1

Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

I had my V Sleeve done on 9/17/18. I was freaking out because I had no weight loss in 5 days. When you are getting used to see the scale go down then it stops I was worried also. But I called my friend and thought it was just me or I'm doing something wrong. I'm exercising more and started added food and thought I'm going back to just shakes. LOL She said keep your eye on the bigger picture like a year out. She said it happen to her also. Thinks it your body adjusting itself to the weight loss. She had a month with no loss then one day down 5 lbs. So I guess I'm Normal. LOL

    I still don't sleep well,wonder if I ever will?

Before the sleeve I was only able to sleep 4 hours. Then I found this supplement at Earth Fare supermarket for around 19.00 and it worked for me. Took about 4 days for it to kick in. But I took it just before bedtime and it seems to straighten my system out. I hope this will work for you also.

  3. Thank you! I have always known that when I'm hurting inside food was my go to and calm me down. I think that is the hardest thing to relearn to stop. Dieting is easy. Family just could not believe that 2 weeks on liquid only. But this is for me! I am first priority Now. I put everyone first and me second. I want the me on the inside to come out.

  4. Thank you for your reply, proudgrammy. Love your stats, that gives me hope. You took it off and are keeping it off. Proud of you! So glad I found this site. Only have one person to talk to for advise the others don't understand. Yesterday I just had my first appointment with my NEW family doctor. So grateful to find a doctor who understands this process, knows what to look for and does not think it's the easy way out. Again Thank you!

  5. Sorry for not staying in touch. Just so tried all the time but I keep pushing on. Worked a 2 half days, 2 days after surgery. I was so feeling it. I'm still having a hard time getting all the liquids in. Feel so full all the time. Now the burping is sometime I'm not use to. Thinking I should learn how to say the ABC's like the kids do. LOL Wanting to eat something so bad that I tried 2 tablespoon of Greek Yogurt with cinnamon and a pinch of honey. The cold is what hurts but letting it sit in my mouth to warm up helped. SOOO good. Still took me 15 mins to finish that, Takes me forever to finish Protein Shakes also. The scale says I have lost weight but my head and clothes says different. But I have to still keep my head in the game and think of the bigger picture. Target date Dec of 2019 my daughter's wedding. I'm going to find a Hot but Classy dress to wear! LOL

  6. Surgery went Great. Only got 3 holes the in the belly button can’t see it that much. I’m home now resting and walking. Worried about not getting enough fluids because I feel full. I’m afraid to drink to much and throw up. Since I heard my fellow VSleever in the next room loose it and in so much pain. But I’m going to stay strong and keep thinking of the bigger picture. Thanks you guys for checking in with me.

  7. Had the Endoscopy today! Check off - Done Next is the Hospital visit and get the time of surgery. 9/11

I started the liquid diet early because it was easier to start on the weekend home than at work. But I can sure tell now when the 3 hrs. are up for my next shake. I'm surprised that I'm getting the 64 oz of Water in and sometimes wanting more. I found that putting in a 8 oz glass is making all the difference.

13 days away from surgery and I’m definitely feeling nervous. I’ve read and re-read all of the information booklets from the hospital almost daily. I’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos and I’m looking through my weight loss surgery for dummies book. I’m ready for 9/17, the wait is making me anxious.

I'm with you on this feeling of the NEW beginning going to start!
