I actually do drink a lot of Water. To the point I thought I was diabetic and got tested a couple times. I ordered some SF electrolyte powder, so I'm hoping that helps.

Congrats on getting your surgery date!
On the upside, you won't have a long, uncomfortable evening the first night out. By the time you're settled back in your room, it will pretty much be bed time. My surgery was about 1:30 in the afternoon and the long evening (when I couldn't drink anything) was torture.

Hello! Mine is also scheduled for September 5th. I start my pre-op diet on the 22nd.

Thank you! I'm a little worried about the pre_op diet. I get bad headaches if I don't eat enough.

I literally had to go in the bathroom at work and tie a knot in my draws! If I hadn't I would have lost them and I had on a skirt.
Its nice to lose weight but geez! It never occured to me to buy some new panties

Well, I did it! Made it home today. I ended up staying a day extra in the hospital because my oxygen was low. But I feel so much better now--I am sore, and sleepy, but I feel so much better being home.
I was probably the most chicken person in the world for getting VGS. If I can do it, anyone can!

Milestone update #1: I hit 30 pounds lost so far today! I am still 29 days out from surgery so I hope to lose much more pre-op! I'm excited to know I can do this!!!

So, I got a call from the surgeon yesterday and he said the CT scan of my liver did not show any abnormalities! That is awesome news! I just need to make sure the pre-op diet is adhered to so I shrink my liver before surgery.
I'm so happy there is nothing wrong with my liver!!!
