  1. Yes I got a call back from the nurse and she asked me several question and seemed to think it was mostly fluid and not to worry. She scheduled me to come in for a check up in 2 days. I feel fine I just completely freaked out when I saw that on the scale. I stepped off reset and kept getting the same number. It was really scary. Thank you for checking up on me. I hope you are doing well.
  2. Fairly well. Every day gets a bit easier. I'm so excited for you.
  3. Wow that came out like word salad. I should really proofread. Sometimes spell check ruin my whole life. Duck!
  4. @MargoCL I heard from the nurse and she told me not to worry unless I'm having physical symptoms. I have an apt with them in 2 days to be sure. So for now I'm just not going to worry people I am a over-worrier and I don't want to make myself crazy.
  5. It was heaven. LOL I have been putting Miralax in all my clear liquids. My gas isn't terrible but it's frequent. My family is shunning me.
  6. @Tim84 I’m so sorry. I felt miserable before I went. How are you feeling otherwise?
  7. Thank you for your kindness. I really appreciate it.
  8. I felt lousy bloated and uncomfortable when I woke up. After I used the bathroom I felt sooo much better. I have a headache and I’m a bit sore but otherwise I feel physically good. Mentally I’m a nervous wreck.
  9. I am tremendously nervous and 2 seconds from freaking out. I hope they call me back soon. I will keep you updated. Thank you for all the support.
  10. Ok I just left a message with my surgeon's nurse. I know this is probably TMI but I went number 2 for the first time since my endo-sleeve surgery on the 24th and I was in the powder room for quite awhile. I hope that has something to do with it but I am really nervous.
  11. I'm freaking out thinking I'm losing too much weight too fast. I have lost 27 lbs since day of surgery. I have been following my diet. I'm now concerned I not getting any nutrients should I call my dr.?
  12. Hello friends I am 3 days out from surgery and feeling a bit better. Thank you guys for the support. I’m so glad that I have ya’ll. @AZTina we’re you talking about the cute gastric sleeve pillow? If you were I got it from Amazon. It was only $13. ?
  13. I am 3 days post op and I cannot drink enough water. I'm tremendously thirsty but I can only drink so much until my stomach hurts. I would call your doctor and let them know that you are really hungry. They will guide you better than any of us so I would hate to give you uneducated or anecdotal information. Take good care of yourself we are both just 3 days out and our bodies are healing. Cheering you on from the states.
  14. I had mine yesterday and same. It is painful top that with queasiness and it’s quite the adventure.
  15. EasternNC I am sorry. That must have been disappointing. December is right around the corner and journey is continuing. It hasn’t halted. Big hug friend
  16. Hi friends I had my surgery yesterday. I’m still feeling weak and sore but much better than yesterday. Good luck to everyone having their surgery in the next couple of days. You’re going to do absolutely amazingly.
  17. This is one of my biggest fears after surgery. Being backed up without surgery is bad enough without adding everything else you are going through. I hoping for smooth sailing for you for the rest of your journey.
  18. @ZeroCool I'm so very sorry you are having such a hard time right now. I don't really have advice because I'm getting my surgery this Friday. I just wanted you to know that I'm rooting and praying for you.
  19. Oh thank you. I was just diagnosed with celiac. The doctor said I was fine to go through with my surgery so I’m thinking starting the liquid diet early will make me feel stronger and healthier. Thank you for the advice.
  20. @srio77 Good luck to you friend. My surgery is 4 days before yours. I’m only supposed to do the liquid diet the day before surgery but I’m wondering if I should start it sooner to mentally and physically prepare myself. You’re gonna rock this. I just know it.
  21. Hello friends. I'm a week away from my surgery and I'm getting so excited. I found a new friend I'm going to take him to the hospital with me. If you want one too they sell them on Amazon for about $13. Happy Friday everybody
  22. I’m so happy for everyone officially on the losers bench!!!! Save a seat for me. My surgery is next Friday.
  23. My surgeon name is Dr. McGowan. I went to college in Gbo though. Woohoo Spartans.
  24. @KRush88 I’m in N.C. too. I’m having mine done in Cary
  25. I'm ok with the medicines during surgery I'm just worried about needing them post-op. My doctor is prescribing a liquid pain medicine I'm just hoping I won't need it. Can I just take Tylenol post-surgery?
