  1. Hi,

Everyone Ist of all I haven't been on for a while becuse my weight loss hasn't been fast at all. My Dr. saids 6 lbs a month is very good to lose but I see other people who have had the band done and they have lost 50+ lbs. I really get discouraged but I do it to my self because I DON"T stick to eating right everyday but I have lost close to 30lbs since March 27th. Everyone of my friends say thats good but others say "how come its taking you so long to lose it". I just wish people would leave me alone and never knew I had the surgery. I can't tell you how close friends of mine have said " well you look thinner since the last time I saw you. Do I say to them " well you look fatter since the last time I seen you, no I don't even talk about WEIGHT. I know I am babeling on but I am just depressed I guess. Sorry I just needed to talk to someone I can't even talk to my husband about it because he saids stop eating so much and you'll lose the weight. See what I mean !!!!!! Haartsdream@aol.com

  2. :thumbdown:I went in to get my first fill since I had my surgery March 27th. Dr. Rodreiuz from Nortons Hospital said I didn't need a fill because I lost 20 lbs in 6 weeks. He said he was thrilled I lost that much, and he said to start walking to get my metabolism up. He said if you lose 6 lbs a month that is good. I told him I can eat over a cup of food but he said as long as your losing weight, don't worry about it. I was upset because I wanted a fill to lose more weight - it doesn't work that way. He said he'll see me in a month. Boy I was really disapointed. I don't think 6 lbs a month is good but he does. He said it is suppose to take you up to 3 yrs to lose your weight. There is no way I am waiting 3 yrs to lose 65 lbs. Hartsdream@aol.com

  3. Yes,

When I was thin at 130 and was a size 6 - All the guys are nice women are nasty to you. Now that I went up to 206 guys say things to me like " What happen to us - way did you gain so much weight. Or I heard from on so called friend " All your weight is in your ass ". Now I don't talk to no one I have kinda exclude myself from people. I am 4 11 and being 206 is alot on me. I have lost 16lbs and losing more.

    Bye for now Hartsdream@aol.com

  4. I got banded march 27, and now I can eat almost anything and any size portion. My question is "What am I suppose to eat and know the Dr. said soft mushy diet. But I am wondering does anyone have a meal plan for people in the 3week to 7week post surgery diet. I don't know what I should eat and portion size because I am starved.

  5. I know I'm new to all of you but I wanted to say I had my surgery on the 27th of March and begged my Dr. to fill me at my second week check up. He said that my surgery has to heal 6 weeks before my first fill. I have lost 16 lbs and people say thats good. But in my mind I know what I am eating without anyone knowing. I feel like a food addict hiding what I'm eating from everyone even my husband. Its terrible. My daughter caught me eating cheese puffs today and said " What are you doing Mom" I told her I was hungry and craving cheese puffs. See what I mean no control at all. But someone today emailed me and let me know I need to be able to tell the difference between hunger and impulse eating. They were absolutly right - Thanks alot I'll try harder - I didn't go thru all this to blow this now.

  6. I had surgery on the 27th of March and I always felt full after eating very little. Now I noticed today I could eat more with out any discomfort at all - Is this normal or is something wrong. Has any of you experienced this feeling also. Hartsdream@aol.com
