  1. Gosh I am so sorry u r going through this . It is a hard journey and we all have to make choices . Maybe it helps to just make a choice to eat right and exercise for that day and not future trip . One day becomes a week, a month , a year . When I did my surgery I made an agreement to myself that I had given in to my impulses for 57 years and I was going to change . I haven’t been 100% perfect but I think it’s what U do 98% of the time . Good luck

  2. Miss time is up , seems like U don’t really want to make the lifestyle changes that will get and keep You a normal weight . As they have told us , this surgery is a tool , not a cure . Sure u can eat gallons of ice cream or graze on pizza and get sround it . I ate a few Fritos the other day and had some ice cream - but u can’t do it regularly and lose and/ or maintain a normal weight

  3. I think at some level all of us are emotional/binge eaters . U don’t get obese without pushing ur limits past actual hunger . I am an advocate of the sleeve, did it in December and lost 60lbs in 2 months . Still 20 to go but the surgery has been life changing . Even when I have “head hunger” I can’t overeat and you quickly learn to eat slow and wisely . Best thing I ever did for myself , I feel like I was released from prison through this surgery . I was about a 35 BMI. Good luck and go for it !

  4. Wow ! Steve U look amazing ! We’re around the same place - I am 195.2 since last week but I am hopeful I will drift down over the next 2 months to my 168 target weight . I seem to hold for a week and then with steady spinning and low carb focused eating with drinking lots of lemon Water , drop 3-5 lbs . The lemon water makes all the difference! My “skinny “clothes from 20 years ago are now too big so it’s starting to be a challenge to dress for work and people are commenting . I really don’t feel like buying a new wardrobe 25 lbs from goal so I will just make do . But u look great ! Congratulations!!

  5. Are you keeping calories under 1000 a day ? Ideally close to 800 a day and under 50g of carbs and low sugar. I’ve found if I drink a big glass of lemon Water at night it breaks a stall as well . I also spin 5x week and get 8-10k steps in and do weight training . The most a stall lasts is a week . U have to spike the activity and confuse the body I think

  6. Hey cut urself some slack! I am 8 weeks out and have taken to just doing shakes some days during the day to ensure I get all my Protein in - I think it’s a gradual process - I try to get as much of my liquid in before 5pm as I can and then take a pause and eat a little real food for dinner . I take a pause to digest and then do a big glass of Water with half a lemon squeezed in . My nut suggested that or cucumber water as a diuretic and it works like a charm - the lbs come off . She said that I can lose weight and then the fat cells fill with water - give it a try
