Sorry-I’m sure this is in a million other posts....I am very uncomfortable with low back pain this evening. Is tylenol all I can safely take post sleeve?

I had pretty bad anxiety leading up to surgery. Totally normal. Have confidence in the team who will be caring for you. Trust in your surgeon. You will do great! Wishing you a speedy recovery!

As a nurse, I would never talk to my patient this way. Hoping you’re able to find the information you need to make the best choice for you. I don’t regret my sleeve one bit.

I took two full weeks off. Five months later and I still need naps. Everyone is different.

Hi. Couldn’t sleep so perusing my fav site. Came upon your post. Yes. My anxiety has gotten worse since I had the surgery. I suffered from an anxiety disorder before surgery but it seems to have gotten worse since. I try to use meditation and try to relax when possible. I am a nurse and am a single mom working two jobs. Not easy. Be kind To yourself. Try to take baby steps. Sounds like you have a very busy life but you have to find even fifteen minutes here and there to close your eyes and regroup. The biggest change for me is the fact that I can no longer stomach any temperature of plain water. Has to be flavored or it comes back up. I use crystal light. I used to guzzle plain water. Strange.

I can so relate. I used to drive with the windows down even on the coldest days. When I was at my heaviest I was ALWAYS hot! Now I need the socks on and the sweatshirt on and don’t like the windows down. Guess it’s a good sign!??

I haven’t been able to tolerate plain water since I was sleeved on July 10th. Makes me very nauseous. I have to use crystal light to flavor or it will come back up.
