Thank you!! Medically cleared - moving on to the insurance approval!! Super excited!

So, just weighed in at the doctor’s office for my medical clearance -I loss 13 pounds since 10/11!!! These small changes are going to aid in my recovery for after the sleeve procedure! Excited !

I am having gastric sleeve surgery! Very informative classes (life skills). The time 6-8 pm stinks :-( especially after working all day with two toddlers at home.

@RJS109 I just wrapped up the life skills class on Thursday (due to the snow the week of Thanksgiving and holidays). I requested a ‘phantom’ date for surgery for employment purposes. So, I have a date for late January that may change. My meeting with the nurse practitioner is scheduled for 12/5. I will need to schedule the appointment for the medical clearance but they do not see a problem. Excited! How about you?

Any updates? It’s almost been a year for almost everyone on this thread. Please share your stories.

Hello All! I am new to the group. I received the green light for my sleeve surgery scheduled for 1/28/19. I could have had it sooner but due to work commitments and child care issues, it will be in January! I am happy and excited to start this adventure! Please comment with words of wisdom and advice! I have two little girls - 3 and 1. High energy is an understatement! We try to reduce sweets and junk - and they love my protein snacks. I have family and friends ready to help after my surgery. My date isn’t confirmed yet - just making better selections while I wait!

Praying things got easier....

Newark, DE here! My doctor is Dr. Halbert. My consultation was on 10/11. I have scheduled my all appointments and should be done the middle of November! I would love to meet up!
