  2. Good to know. Thank you!
  3. You can do this! You are worth it! This is temporary! Keep focused and eye on the prize. Surgery date is coming soon. Best of luck to you. We are all here to cheer you along!
  4. I was sleeved July 10th and have lost about 60 pounds. Started having dizzy spells about a month after surgery so my doc cut my blood pressure med in half since my blood pressures were normalizing. Cpap stopped almost immediately after surgery. No longer snore and sleep through the night. Having a sleep study in a another month or so to confirm that I am free of the cpap for good.
  5. Hi fellow July sleevers. I haven’t weighed myself in about a month because my scale broke-scheduled for visit for weigh in and check up with surgeon on Monday. Last I checked I was down about 60 pounds. Just had labwork done-b12 high but everything else good. Losing hair in clumps. Haven’t been exercising as much lately because it’s been so cold out (I usually walk around the neighborhood) - but they’re building a new gym near my home that’s only $10 per month so I’ll be joining. Can’t wait. It’s tough sometimes to stick with the diet-tried a Mac Donald’s cheeseburger last week and puked it up. I still have to pace myself and slow my eating down and still can’t tolerate plain water. Going on a trip to Disney in a few weeks so hoping I don’t have any problems with finding the right foods to eat.
  6. Welcome. Plenty of support here for you. This site has been a godsend for me.
  7. Sending love your way. So sorry for your loss. Praying for your family.
  8. My stomach moans and makes wierd noises after I drink or eat. I try not to talk on the phone directly after eating or drinking because it’s embarrassing.
  9. More discomfort than pain. Walking and moving is Key to releasing the gas.
  10. Hang in there. The first few days suck. It will get better. Slow sips, keep your body moving. Normal-everything you’re feeling. We’re all here for you. Every day will get a little better and before you know it you’ll look back and smile at your new life!
  11. Hello. I’m traveling from NY to Orlando in February-wondering if I’m allowed to bring crystal lite in my bag? What about water bottles? I will check out the airline website to see what’s allowed but wondering if you all have any tips for travel. It’s not a long flight for me but I want to have access to water and can’t drink without the crystal lite. Any other travel tips? I’ll be seven months post op at travel time.
  12. I paid out of pocket for psych visit.
  13. At six months out, eggs are tolerated by my pouch thankfully because I love eggs. One boiled egg fills me up.
  14. Woo hoo! You got this! Keep us updated! Prayers and best wishes being sent your way!❤️?
  15. Hey there. Sorry you’re going through a rough time. It WILL get better! We’re all here for you! Fluids first. Take your pain meds. Each day it will get a little better......
  16. I am six months post sleeve and still can’t tolerate plain water. Have to use crystal lite. My tummy just doesn’t like it plain.
  17. Keep moving forward. You’ll do great. Tons of support here for you. Best of luck to you!
  18. Congrats! You’re almost there! You’re gonna do great and we’re all here to cheer you on!
  19. I work from home at a desk job. Took two full weeks off. Biggest hurdle for me was the exhaustion during the day. Had to take a nap during my lunch break. Don’t rush going back if you don’t have to. Give your body as much time to rest and heal as possible.
  20. Hope everything is ok. Please keep us posted. We care!❤️
  21. #winning! Congrats! Keep up the good work!
  22. Hi all. Sleeved 7/10. Down about 65 pounds. Lot of temptation this time of year. Did try some chocolate covered strawberries...had a piece of two of them. Everything else I just told myself was off limits. Haven’t weighed myself in about a week. My normal weigh day is Sunday but decided to skip this week. Hair falling out. Just keeping with the program.
