So i had my first consultation yesterday and met my surgeon and I am so excited! My insurance doesnt require the wiegh-ins so thats a plus. My surgeon told me i can get all the exams done in one day and would have to pay out of pocket for the nutritionist and psychological exam. Anyone else do this?

Congrats on having your first consult! Dietician and exercise physiologist visits were covered for me since the hospital includes those in its program, but insurance didn't completely cover my psych exam because the psychologist the hospital uses is out of network for me.

I paid out of pocket for psych visit.
