Thank you very much you have no idea that your post really impacted me and touch my heart thank you for being so supportive and non-judgmental against me I am having the hardest time I almost regret having the surgery not only am I having issues with this surgery and trying to make better choices and learn as much as I can about the sleeve which by the way I should have done before I have the surgery I am dealing with an alcoholic adulterous husband which is causing more emotional pain besides the pain that I have dealt with since a child I am in the process of checking myself into some serious counseling to get over the problems of my past once and for all so that it doesn't lead back to eating my way through the pain I have lots of things to conquer but I am strong I am smart and I'm Not Dead I will overcome these things I will live and maybe one day find happiness Within Myself first and then hopefully in a meaningful relationship with someone that I deserve vice versa thank you for sharing I really enjoyed reading your post it touched me and led me to think of lots of other things kind of outside the box what a support and Super Trooper you are thank you again[emoji5] [emoji7] I absolutely loved your post what encouraging words!!!! Thank you for your advice and I will definitely take it to heart I have Incorporated shakes into my life now they are a lifesaver I use the premier protein shakes from Walmart that's what my doctor recommended I have tried all flavors my favorite is good vanilla it's good by itself but it's also great to make a protein shake with as a base in the blender I went on Pinterest and search for bariatric shakes to change up the flavor there is a world of information on there and extracts are your best friends from extracts I have learned to make all kinds of flavors even mint chocolate chip LOL thank you for all your encouragement I wish you well and hope that you get your surgery soon it hurts to put in all the work and then be turned away or fall through the cracks keep your chin up it will happen very soon for you!!! Well if that's the truth which I don't know that I haven't spoke to a professional( Dr) it's probably because I didn't have that information before my surgery but hindsight's 20/20 I know that I've had the sleeve and I know now what to do. I never knew to do that until 3 days ago but I am doing it now and it seems to be helping me also using a measuring cup I still have to get me a food scale I just can't believe how I was eating versus how I'm supposed to be eating I still have to refer to the internet as what to eat how much to eat and how to eat this has been a total struggled but I'm glad I have you guys to turn to[emoji5] for advice and encouragement I don't have much of a support group here at home.
