Let me tell you this. The doctors are going to PUSH to get you out of there in one day but speak up if you don't feel comfortable leaving the day after surgery. I was hesitant to go home so soon and my Dad told me to be honest and tell them I wasn't ready and I'm glad I did. I barely even remember that day after surgery and don't think I would have been comfortable at home. Plus being at the hospital the extra day helped me get my pain under control better for when I left for home.

You're gonna wanna take the most time your doctor wants you to take. I thought a week out I was feeling good enough and pushed myself a bit too much and ended up on the couch all day yesterday in pain.

That's me today. I walked too fast on my 4 walks yesterday and today I am paying for it.You have to remember you've just had a major surgical procedure. Your body is going to need time to heal itself and that won't be overnight. I do know how frustrating it is, though. I wanted more than anything to get my veggie garden planted yesterday but after sitting on the edge of the garden bed and putting in 4 cucumber plants I was done!

This is something I've been looking forward to as soon as I decided on surgery. Losing boobs. I've been big chested since middle school and I'm sitting at a 46G right now. Please Lord take some away! [emoji16][emoji16]

Oh gosh I never knew disgusting until I had to grind Tylenol after surgery. I'm so thankful that my pain let up quick bcuz I don't think I could have handled much more. [emoji23]One prenatal Vitamin, since I can swallow it, got away from grinding those horrid chewablesm

Oh man I can't wait!Yes, a few of us have commented on it. I'm a 26th bypass and it's just now getting better. I usually drift off around 12 or 1 am then up at 5. Last night I managed from 11 pm to 6 this morning.
Hopefully it gets better before I have to go back to work at the end of the month. 12-16 hr shifts on a couple hours of sleep is def no fun!

Hello! I had my surgery on Sept. 28 and I was wondering if anyone has trouble sleeping? Not because of pain or anything but because I just don't fall sleep. Evident by this 1 am post lol
