I am 4 days post op, and having trouble getting in all the liquids I'm supposed to. I am also very fatigued in the evenings. Anybody else having these issues, any suggestions would be appreciated.

July 2nd for me. I am excitedly nervous...lol

My surgeon wanted me to lose 40 more lbs before he scheduled my surgery. However, I am a woman of faith, and when I left his office I was devastated. We were supposed to set a date that day. So I got in my car and I prayed, God if this is your will let it happen. On Friday June 15th, I got a phone call saying you need to call and lets set a date for your surgery. I got this message after 5. So I had to wait through the weekend. They called me back first thing Monday June 18th and set my date for July 2nd. I already had a weigh in appointment for Thurs June 21st. They made that my pre op appointment. Everything for me is moving super fast for me now.

My Dr did not do complete liquids the entire week before. I will start complete liquids on Friday June 29th.

I am having mine on July 2nd

Try emailing your hospitals bariatric nurse. I had my RNY Monday July 2. The head bariatric nurse gave me her card with her number and email on it.

Thank you @RickM for the input. Ill talk to the nurse tomorrow see what she thinks. Guess it's all about personal preference and your lab results.
I'm very nervous, but excited about my pending surgery. 6 days and counting. July 2nd, just 24 days shy of my 50th birthday. Happy Birthday to me.

Slow but steady wins the race I have lost aprox 17 lbs up to this date. Trying to get in 10 more BY Monday. I think I can, just gott put my mind to it.

I'm 1 week till operation day, I lingered for a particularly long time at the air fresheners today.....eek!

My nutritionist advised me to take Flintstones chewable vitamins, two tabs twice a day. Also 600 mg chewable Calcium caltrate or calcium citrate with Vitamin D one twice a day. Take these 2 hours seperate than the Flintstone Vitamins.

And see when you intrusted, things did move along and things worked out. He does grant the desires of out 💕when we pray in a contrite spirit. Go over to Orchids and Dragon's Prayers requested and Accepted forum. I know she raised all us future surgeries up in prayer. If you noticed in my postings above I too will be having a July surgery, I am trust Go's will be assisting my surgeon Dr Needleman , guiding his hands and together they will perform the miracle I need to improve, sustain and make possible future years of life for me. And I will live faithful until of life for me.👸

Day 1 of my pre op diet today, all getting scarily real now.
I'm not on the milk diet thank goodness, just two weeks of essentially no carbs.
My toiletries bag for the hospital is packed....random but I felt I wanted / NEEDED to do something.
I can't believe that 2 weeks tomorrow my op will be done.
