Chest pain is common after a laparoscopic surgery. Mine was terrible, I thought I broke a rib or something. Cough as much as you can, and keep breathing. I was worried too, but after the first week all was well. If you do a search on here, you will see many many people have/had chest pain following the surgery. (((hug)))

I'm glad your feeling better, keep coughing to keep things clear, and walking to build up those lungs. It killed me taking deep breaths the first week or so. I thought I broke a rib or something. It did go away eventually though. I was banded in April also. (Come join our april group if you'd like!)
