  1. I am 4 days post op. I keep having a pressure build inside my chest that ultimately leads to a spam type of thing like a hiccup. It's extremely uncomfortable. Anyone else having the same? Also I'm having really bad acid reflux and all I'm drinking is water. Ugh!
  2. I am 4 days post up. Today is the first day that food sounds slightly intriguing. I'm having terrible acid reflux though and I know in the past when I had it I would reach for food to make the pain/nausea go away. I can't drink anything besides water right now and I still have it. I think it's why I'm now looking forward to food as a way to buffer some of the acid. I'd love to have a protein shake but I'll wait and do the time. Does the reflux subside at all once you start eating?
  3. Hello, I also had surgery on Monday. I agree with the rude awakening, I mean, I didn't think this was going to be easy but I guess you never really know what it is going to be like. I can't drink gatorade/powerade/vitamin water because they all give me reflux. The did before, they do still unfortunately. So I'm sipping water slowly. I have zero appetite and pretty much the thought of food and even smells nauseate me. Everyday it gets a little better, hoping I'll be up to going back to work on Monday - no choice! I'm grateful to find people in my exact timeline through this!
